I've been out of the online poker scene for a couple years now and I recently decided to get back in. So far I have tried Luvin and Cake. I'm only playing the micro-stakes (for now) and I was surprised at how different the play was between Luvin and Cake.
The Luvin software is ok, but it seems a bit bulky. I would like to see a cleaner version or a simple-view. The chat box is virtually impossible to use.
I have read reviews of this site where people swear that some of the players are cheating; that they can see the cards. The thing is there seem to be a ton of loose crazies on this site, mostly the Europeans I think. Calling or shoving with any type of draw is not unusual. And they do it so much that they catch more often than any tight player wants to see. But if you sit and watch long enough the loose crazies always seem to bust out eventually. Knowing this, there is huge potential for profit here. Again, this is all at the micros, it may be different at higher stakes.
The ring game action here is very light. At the most, there will be one or two tables going at any given level. S&Gs NEVER fill up. There are quite a few low buy-in MTTs here which is nice, and the play is very soft.
Depositing was kind of a pain. I had to use PicClub and I had to send in a copy of an ID and credit card which still makes me nervous.
The BEST thing about Luvin (besides the loose fish) is the rake-back. I signed up through FTR and I think it's 40%, which gets deposited to your account once a week automatically...forever.
The deposit bonus is impossible to clear though. I did not even get close to clearing 1/3 within the allotted time.
Have not had to deal with support, nor have I made a withdrawal...yet.

If you want to play one table then go for it. The players are terrible but I have never been able to play more than 1 table during the evening hours. I play FR, I imagine there is a little more action in 6max.
I suppose when I want to play, they are asleep over in that hemisphere.
If you can play during THEIR max hours, then it is probably worth it. Good rakeback and horrible players will help build your role.

NUTS: Their multiple bonuses and VIP system are respectable, and their software is solid. Great signup bonus and rakeback.
-
BEATS: Unfortunately, LuvinPoker recently closed to US players. This made the site suffer evern more from a lack of traffic. There is plenty of action to be had at the low and middle stakes, but players look for highroller action may be in for a long wait.

Luvin Poker Overview
Questions on how to deposit at Luvin Poker? We have a few options highlighted to help, just see our Luvin Poker Deposit section to find out how!
As a member of the Everleaf Poker Network, Luvin Poker has a small player pool with lots of fish and an attractive interface, but a small player pool and weak tournament selection. Luvin Poker is a lesser-known room on a lesser-known network that is facing some growth issues, especially since they pulled out of the US market. It does have some flaws, but makes up for them with good security and great bonuses.
LuvinPoker has a wide selection of different games at different limits, but with such a small player pool you will rarely find active tables unless you want to play No-Limit Hold'em or Pot Limit Omaha. But on these tables, the majority of people are terrible players so finding fish should be easy. If you want to play a Sit & Go or tournament, be prepared to wait because games on these sections of the site are scarce.
Because LuvinPoker is a network skin, they put a lot of effort into making a great interface. Tables look good and feature photorealistic dealers that call out actions and move around. If you don't like the dealer, you can change him or her by clicking on them. Everything you could want is customizable, including unloadable avatars, custom decks, table options, sound options, chip options, dealer options, buttons to tile or stack tables, and several other ways to make your game play as smooth as possible.
That said, their interface is not exactly sleek. Because of all the graphics and options, it can be bulky and slow. You can play up to eight tables at once, but according to a support representative, their software is "one of the heaviest on the market" and may slow down or drop the connection with that many tables open. Adding to the problem, they have no disconnect protection for no-limit or pot-limit games. Fortunately, they show your connection strength at the top of every table so you can close tables before things get too slow.
LuvinPoker compensates for their bulkiness with an awesome bonus package through FlopTurnRiver. If you sign up through our link, you will get a whopping 40% rakeback on your account for cash games. Make sure you input the bonus code FTR while registering a new account and you’ll also gain access to a 100% initial deposit bonus up to $500. With the combination of rakeback, a deposit bonus, and lots of fish, you can make big money by playing on LuvinPoker.
If you have any problems with your account, they have free 24/7 support by email or live chat. If you are on an Apple or someone else's computer, there is a no-download flash version of their software available. You can feel safe playing at LuvinPoker because of their impressive security and support. As part of Everleaf, they are also powered by the Quantum Photon Shuffler, which they claim is the best and most reliable card shuffler online.
LuvinPoker.com Software Interface/Usability
The software used by Everleaf Gaming is modern and overall has a great appearance. They offer a lot of customizable options including a dealer who can actually voice players actions. Players can also choose from different avatars, multi-color decks, and multi-tabling options such as tiling, cascading, or stacking their tables.
The software at Luvin Poker is not exactly the fastest around but it does get the job done. Attempting to run the allotted maximum tables (currently 8) can bog the server down and make gameplay fairly slow. This can cause some problems as currently they do not offer any sort of all-in protection. These types of problems are typical with newer sites and as more players join and they are able to focus more funds on servers these issues should resolve themselves quickly.
LuvinPoker Room Action
As with most newer sites, there is clearly not enough action to go around at Luvin Poker. Their popular games are NL Texas Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha. They spread these games from $.01/$.02 blinds up to $100/$200. It is tough to find much action past the midstakes games as the higher-stakes are populated by regulars waiting for fish to join.
Multi-table tournament and SNG players will have similar trouble in finding different games and stakes. While SNGs start as low as $.10 they do not receive much action above the $11 levels. They run some regular MTT events daily including a $10k Guarantee on Saturday for $50 which typically has overlay.
LuvinPoker.com's Ease of Game, Ease of Money Making, and Fish Rating
The games at Luvin Poker are quite soft. TThe games are mainly populated by fishy newcomers who can help boost your bankroll. You can find bad players at the majority of the small and mid-stakes NL Hold'em games.
The SNGs and Tournaments at LuvinPoker are also quite soft and can be extremely profitable for someone with a clue on beating them. While they seem to be less populated than the cash games there is still plenty of money to be made against players who do not understand basic bubble tactics in their turbo games.
Luvin Poker Bonus Referral Codes and Promotions
Those new to Luvin Poker will want to make sure they're getting the most of their new poker home. The easiest way to do that is via FlopTurnRiver's exclusive Luvin Poker bonus code. Simply enter the code Luvin500 when you are signing up to unlock a 100% first deposit bonus up to $500.
This Luvin Poker bonus code allows you to treble your initial cash injection. There aren't many offers online that can provide this kind of value from your first deposit. You have 30 days from the date of your deposit to clear the bonus, which is paid out in one lump sum.
Unlocking the cash requires Poker Points, which are earned by paying rake/fees in real money cash games, SNGs, and tournaments. For every 10 cents in rake players will earn 1 Poker Point and for every $1 in tournament fees 10 Points will be rewarded. For example, competing in a $20+$2 tournament will net a player 20 Poker Points. This Luvin Poker bonus code requires 25 poker points per dollar for clearance.
Players should also be aware of Luvin Poker's 40% rakeback, available as part of FlopTurnRiver's bespoke deal. You can even earn this rakeback while clearing your initial deposit bonus during cash games.
To see how lucrative this is, consider working on the full $500 bonus. It takes 12,500 Poker Points to clear, which is $1,250 in rake. With 40% rakeback players will not only receive the $500 bonus but will also earn $500 extra in rakeback. That amounts to more than 200% rakeback during this 30 day period! Rakeback money is deposited into your account automatically at the end of every week.
LuvinPoker Rakeback Review
Luvin Poker, part of the Everleaf Gaming Network, offers 40% rakeback to their players. Anyone who registers using the bonus code FTR will get access to this offer, in addition to a great first deposit bonus. Their rakeback deal is no strings attached, just play real money cash games and you will receive 40% of the rake paid back into your account after each week.
\As part of FlopTurnRiver exclusive bonus deal, you can start earning rakeback while clearing your 100% up to $500 initial deposit bonus!

Fairly new to this site and I love the guarantees. I normally can't stand rebuys, but there are so many fish if you sit back for a good hand, these are very profitable. They have some decent freezeouts, but I would like to see more in the evenings. I was a bit hesitant depositing, but I used Western Union and the funds were on in an hour. I just requested my first cash out and it should be there tomorrow (they pay the fees going out, I paid going in). I also recommend writing to support and requesting a lower deposit bonus if you are not hardcore. I cleared the $50 bonus fairly quickly and am by no means a grinder. If I had more time to play, the $600 deal is great. The best part is the rakeback gets deposited directly in your account and is generous. Support is very helpful, but if you plan on multi tabling, you should turn dealer speech and animations off. It seems to be growing and higher amounts of traffic during the day. The only real drag is the lack of Sit and Go's. They are virtually non-existent.

Rake back. U.S. Players. Lots of fish. What else can I say? It's a
bit bulky, but pleasant to look at. Anything over 4 tables up and
there is a lag. Not a ton of traffic, but unless I am imagining it,
seems to be growing daily. Live chat support was very helpful.

Just deposited here and began building my roll, got a total of $500 in bonuses including the FTR bonus. I have to complete 18,000 hands to clear it in 60 days which seems kinda much. I belueve they are headed in the right direction the rakeback is great and as result the ring games stay pretty plentiful. Also they offer some decent tournaments and if you are a solid MTT player its not hard to cash. if they player pool continues to grow it will be a great place for US players

Like most US players, I thought I was out of luck when Black Friday hit. Luckily, my friend told me to put $100 on Luvin' Poker and I have ran that up to like five hundo - Ballin'! Compared to PokerStars the software is kinda crappy but I got used to it after awhile. The games are fkn sweet tho - so many donks. Looks like this site has a good RB deal(40%) and a sweet bonus so ya, don't hesitate to put a hundred bones on there and run that shit up.

A cool new site, I like the fact that you can get 40% rakeback on top of your bonuses. They do not have a lot of action but they seem to be growing a bit.
