Pocket JJ's are a premium hand, a Group 1 hand. However, as most of you know, it is a weak
Group 1 hand, dominated by AA, KK, QQ, and a coin toss against AK and AQ.
I always raise with pocket Jacks pre-flop, looking to fold out any weak Aces, Kings, and Queens, but
I am very sensitive to big re-raises with this hand.

In the below hand, I get very lucky by hitting the third Jack on the flop. With the Jack being
the highest card on the flop, I have the absolute nut hand at this moment with very little risk.
I try to milk the pot for just one round of betting because I think I can give up one card and
still be a monster favorite to win this hand. So, based on the size of the pot, I put out a very
callable bet.
It was definitely a good move, allowing the turn card to come cheap made all the difference in
the world on this particular pot. Check it out:
