Flop The Nuts



Note this hand is from Eric Sprague's PartyPoker play. Eric is not my real handle but we'll use it for this demo. I flop the nut straight w/ 4 cards to the royal flush or the nut ace high flush. Either way you look at it, it's the nuts! Bet is fifty cents to me and I just call to keep players around for a bigger pot. Raised behind me $9.50, and I go all in, now that the pot is big I don't want to let the board pair and give away a full house/four of a kind without making my opponent(s) pay. Luckily the flush comes because otherwise I would have had to split the pot w/ the other straight...
