Full Tilt is, in my Opinion, the best available Pokerroom!
Most Pros are signed up there and they got the best Promotions.
What I also like are the Features like Rush Poker or the new "multi-entry".
You can play Texas Hold´em or Omaha but also Razz, Stud or H.O.R.S.E there and you will always be able to find a table that fits you.
If you start playing Poker you have to check out Full Tilt Poker.
For new Players there is a 100 % Bonus
up to 600$ and a great New-Depositor Freeroll.
Hope you enjoyed my littel Review and have a nice day!

The interface of tilt is not the best but the usability , poker room action, bonus, promotions make up for anything negative you can say about Full tilt. Nothing real flashy about the site and that's what makes it a top poker site. You play to win money.
If you want a chance to win money, build a bankroll with freerolls, private tourneys or small buy ins then full tilt is perfect for you. Also alot of action at middle and high stakes with plenty
of pro's to rail.
Are you looking for constant action, then you will love rush poker. You won't know if you like it until you try it.
The tech support of Tilt is not the greatest, but they do have there own forum and anyone there can help you out or here on the FTR forum.
Alot of fish at Tilt compared to alot of other sites. If you want someone to chase that flush or straight then you will have no trouble winning at Tilt

Having fought against a lot of poker software from a lot of
different poker rooms, Full Tilt Poker was like a breath of fresh
air, and is one of only two poker rooms that I'm willing to play
at these days.
Their software is great, works on Mac and Windows and US
players are welcome, which gives them a really big player
base, the second largest in the business. In my experience
Full Tilt tends to be fishier than its one real competitor
PokerStars, which is always a good thing.
All deposits and cashouts have been smooth and fast with no
drama whatsoever, and their player-to-player transfers
happen almost instantly. If you're emailing their support desk
about non-urgent things (like, unrelated to cashouts) then it
can sometimes take them a day or two to respond, but
nothing too unreasonable.
Really solid poker room, nobody's gonna regret signing up at
Full Tilt.

I have been playing on FTP for a few
years. I have found that this site is
probably the worst for people playing

What is so gut wrenching is the
countless idiots who go in with the
worst and come out on top. Some say its
rigged, but I just know you have to be
careful.

I do not like Full Tilt at all. The
software is glitchy as hell for me...
with some clicks not seeming to register
and an odd timing feature for sitting
into a game once you are sitting down.
That alone is reason enough for me to
avoid it like the plague.
The existence of the Bet Pot Button, may
seem convenient, but it allows too many
fish the opportunity to make smaller
mistakes in many situations by betting
pot when on other sites, without
a
betpot button, they might bet
substantially less.
The player pool is smaller than Stars,
but the overall opponent in the micros
seems to be worse (from what most have
written about). And as it is currently
set up the rakeback for FTP micro
players is much better than what you can
get at Stars and it's straight up
money. There are good table loader
programs, and other nice hot key
features that one can tap into but you
are limited to 16 tables I believe if
you want to multi-table cash games.

I installed Full tilt a couple of weeks
a go, and the first few days were great,
i was hitting everything, even found
myself chasing those middle pins because
they always seem to come, But then,,, i
cashed out a few hundred dollers, well
someones luck could not change so quick,
id get aces only to be beat by k5 suited
even though id made a decent bet to get
rid of the rubbish, still sh*t happens,
but then next game i get a a first hand
ak calls flop
kk, ok i deal with it, but
then it goes on and on and on, start
playing lower stakes, no change,
torneys, ring games no matter bad beat
after bad beat, only one solution just
played my last $6 9 seater flopped
straight only for him to call my ALL IN
with top pr and to hit runner runner
full house, now im out of credit and the
program is unistalled never to be used
again,,, shame really cause i liked the
fact the site had no casino to squander
my winnings in, but the RNG in basically
non existant now ive played on scores of
sites and alot of land based but this
site in my opinion is the worst site ive
ever played, and thats even with me
leaving it a bout a hundred dollers
up,,, anyhow ive said my piece. and
whether it was just really bad luck (i
dont think so) or a porely rigged RNG i
dont think ill ever know cause im gone

There is one bizare aspect of the Full
Tilt client: in tournaments the only
notification of a player sitting out
appears in the chat text (and in the

In ring games "Sitting Out" appears in
place of a players stack size, just like
in virtually evry other site I've
seen.
Full Tilt support continue to insist
that this is due to lag. Full Tilt
tournament players know otherwise.

Interface: Has to be a 5/5 simple to

large enough to press. Many standard

Software is great. Not many unique
features but the best in it's class.
Cool little avatars
Poker Action: 4/5 Simply because this
site just isn't beginner friendly. Full
ring games have 50% tight and 50% loose
not always the case but that's what
I've encountered. Plenty of action from
the button/small/big
blinds.
Technical Support: Top notch, nothing
has gone wrong yet.
Ease of Game/fish: If you encounter a
pro you will surely lose all your money
to him. Lots of bluffing going on that
unexperienced beginners can't afford to
handle.
Bonus: I suppose is good very ingenious
way of earning your bonus and I can
quickly use for my bankroll.
Would like to see: A bad beat jackpot,
custom avatars, more table designs
Keep in mind I'm a Beginner. Full Tilt
has been the best site I've seen since
PokerStars.

here is where you should consider
playing next. nice bonus, although it
takes quite awhile to clear. ignore the
old (1 year +) reviews; this site has
REALLY softened up. the volume a year
ago was around 8-10k, during peak hours,
now is over 25k routinely...that should
speak for itself. games are
"intelligent" (fish dont chase draws
as much here) and have read some books
about ABC poker (makes the games a bit
predictable), but still quite soft,
at
the lower stakes. software is AWESOME,
and improving consistently.
if you are a tourney player, i am not ,
but i have WON 3 of my last 10
multi-SNGs (40 players +), and
"monied" in 2 others...50% in the
money ain't bad. tourneys might be
VERY beatable.
limit players have a gold-mine here,
too. SH limit games are among the worst
i have seen anywhere.
hard to beat Stars, but FullTilt is
making one crazy kind of run at them
with the new US legislation.

adominantly announced its support of

substantial growth over the coming
months. The interface is a lot of fun,
the tourneys are good, the support is

Well rounded game and I would expect a

2006 UPDATE on 15 May 2006
Interface:

Fish:

Bonuses:

Hey all, in case you are just wandering
across this review, I wanted to point
out that it is very old and does not
reflect the fact that there are plenty
of players (and fish) at Full Tilt
nowadays. I was playing around noon
today (a Monday) and there were 9600
players online. Right now (Monday
evening 7:30 pm) there are over 14000.
I am playing 6max $1/$2 limit HE and
killing it for like 15BB/hr thanks to
the fish next to me. That's atypical
though,
since Full Tilt tends to be
tighter than most other sites (which is
great if you are sick of idiot suckouts
at Party). The SNG tournaments are
terrific, esp the heads-up ones where
you can find fish willing to hand you
$20 in one shot. The emotional avatars
are addictive and I miss them at other
sites. The detachable chat is great.
The NL betting controls are extremely
well designed and make other sites feel
extremely clunky. You can occasionally
catch Phil Ivey playing $50/$100 NL ring
games. You can often spot John Juanda,
Mike Matusow, or John D'Agostino
multi-tabling. The only thing that
sucks about Full Tilt is the bonuses...
rare and damn near impossible to unlock.
As for cashout problems, I have never
experienced any whatsoever in 1 year at
this site.

also
have their own avatar. The competition
here seemed pretty tough compared to
party poker. I did not like the
backgrouns here. They are so bright and
glamorous that it gave me a headache
after staring
at it for too long. A lot
of
poeple are complaining about cashing
out. If you want to receive a check in
the

your account. If you are using
Neteller or any other service, there is
no limit. I didn't have a problem with
cashing out. Overall it's okay but
I'll be going back to Pokerstars...

Not bad but some issues on 27 Jun 2005
Interface:

I have played a while here and find the
graphics of the sites really great. It
makes such a change to play on a site
and enjoy looking at the screen as
opposed to just looking at the cards
fixedly. I was tempted in my the
whopping 100% bonus, which does take a
while to clear unless you play the high
stake limit games or get lucky with a
good run of cards. The cashout process
was a little hassle for me as the only
one I could use was neteller (although
they
do allow withdrawals of only $50 to
a neteller account) but thats not too
much of an issue overall. The
competition is stiff, not the best but
the average player is better than that
of the average player you may find on
some of the bigger sites (such as party
or empire for example) so make sure your
playing roperly when you sit down.
As for bad beats, well all I can say is
'shit happens', the cards seem fine to
me and bad beats can last a long time
sometimes but without hundreds of hands
to statisitically review you can't pass
judgement on a few hands and your own
bad experience. Overall I have only
drawn level on this site but thats due
to the better than average players here
rather than 'dodgy cards'.

I was on Empire poker and switched to
Full Tilt. I agree, the competition on
Full Tilt is overall much tougher. I
enjoy that part, because I have only
been playing for approx 6 months and am
eager to learn. The one thing I have
noticed about Full Tilt that I don't
like is the enormous amounts of bad
beats. I play a fair amount of live
poker, and there's no comparison. Just
last night, in a $20 tourney at Full
Tilt, I took 4 bad beats in the first
hour!
These are not races, these are
situations where the other guy only has
around 4-5 cards maximum to pull on the
river...and hits them continually. Even
the other competitors were commenting on
the situation. I also agree with the
review that mentioned the frequency of
high pocket pairs all coming on the same
hand. It seems to happen very often
where someone will have jacks, someone
else will have kings, and someone else
will have aces. I know it happens, but
it sure seems to be common on Ful Tilt.
I do like the players tho, for the most
part. Empire seemed to have a large
amount of people that seemed to be more
interested in talking smack than playing
cards. Full Tilt has it's share, but
far less that Empire. I like Full Tilt
overall, but wish they could develope an
actual random dealer to make the games
more realistic. The mathematical odds
state that bad beats should not occur as
often as not.

At first I felt duped when I read the
fine print of the bonus. Definitely
should have done this prior to moving my
money from Party but live and learn.
After a week I've earned the first part
of my bonus, which is released in $20
increments. If you play the 1/2 limit
games it will take about 14 hours to
earn each increment of your bonus.
Obviously the higher your limit the
faster you can earn it. 2/4, 7 hours,
3/6, 4-5 hours. Its not the best
bonus
but if you buy in for $200 and you play
50 hours a month at the 1/2 you'll earn
the whole thing. At the 2/4 it would
take about 25 hours a month, not that
bad. Obviously if you try to get the
whole thing and buy in at $600 you're
going to have to play a lot more at the
higher limits so take that into
consideration.
As for the play, I'm doing a lot better
than I was at Party. People seem to sit
at the table much longer which gives you
a better chance to get a read on their
styles. Also when you take notes on a
player they are there the next time you
run into them online.
Per the bounty on pro's, they generally
sit at the $20-30 sit and goes or
tournaments and that's just not where
I'm at so I'm never going to see that.
Basically the way I see it is if you
aren't playing for any bonus you might
as well consider moving on over for
three months and then moving back to
where ever you came from (Party or
Ultimate). As soon as I left the next
day I got an email about a reload bonus,
first one since I had joined 6 months
prior. Coincidence? Right.
Support wise, I emailed them and they
got right back to me.

Full tilt is one of the cooler sites out

cool that there is bounties on the heads

stiff though. If your out to learn than
IMO (in my opinion) this is the best
site. If your out to make easy money
(and deal with some bad beats) then
stick to party poker or empire poker.
There is also not as many people playing
at one time so you may
have to wait for
a table if you are playing an 18 person
toureny. Thier tables also seat 9
instead of 10. They have absolutely no

all the pros lingering around the low

better at the game this is where you
want to be. A place where you

Well, 100% bonus is hard to pass up, but
their requirements are pretty steep to
clear it. $1 of rake = $.06 of your

$20 at a time though, which is pretty
nice. However, I've heard several
people complain that the bonus will take
them forever to clear. If all you're
going is going for the bonus, just up
your number of tables. I cleared a bit
over ten percent of the bonus in about 3
and a half hours last night
playing 4
.25/.50 NL tables.
Fish factor: good heavens. Had EIGHT
separate occasions where someone raised
me all in when they were on the draw.
Avatars: couldn't care less
I like the fact that they have an option
to rotate the table, makes multitabling
much easier (left click on another

didn't know)
Haven't dealt with customer service or

with 8 fish but go untested until you
discover that a good player can destroy
you. Here I can practice and there's
nothing
like the humility that losing at
NICKLE poker provokes... if you can't
win at that level, you shouldn't be
playing for higher stakes. If you can,
move up. But start small. And you do
get action, just not ludicrous Party
action :)

I liked this poker room. I didn't earn
the full bonus like many others here.
But I did earn $120 of it before I quit
and headed back to Empire. The software
is quite nice. The interface is a lot of
fun and adds some liveliness to the
game. The action is still a bit weak,
but you can find some tables at the
stakes you're looking for. The fish
are not as plentiful, but there are some
that like to throw their money around.
Bonus is very tempting,
at $600, but too
difficult to earn over the longhaul.
However, I did earn $120 of it which
I'm happy about.

I am a recreational player who was
suckered in by that 100% bonus that will
take me about two years to earn - which
sucks because I only have 120 days to
make it. The worst is wanting to play a
ring game and having only two tables at
the limit I want to play in action (of
course completely full).
I do enjoy the sit and go tournaments
and the avitars. I agree with most
people here who say that the games are
tougher. I made a killing on Party
Poker
and have mostly treaded water at
Full Tilt. I guess I need to tighten
up!
Is it just me or do bad beats rule? I
have been hit by (and administered) a
ton of bad beats on the river. As for
the true randomness of their dealer, in
consecutive tournaments, I was dealt
pocket kings, only to come up against
aces. The funny thing was, both times
there was another poor slob with pocket
jacks or poket queens in the hand!
I've had the same thing happen where
tens, jacks, and queens all came up at
the same time - twice in one tournament.
Hmmmmmmm. Play those big non-aces
pocket pairs judiciously before the
flop.

I have been playing at full tilt fo
about 3 months now.I think their Bonus
is excellant,it does take time but you
wont find 100% in many places.I have
gotten my original 300 bonus and am now
into my 2nd and 50% in. I think that in
the beginning there was little action
but now it is starting to pick up. I
have made more money here then any other
sight. Also I think they have the best
Omaha games and tournements.

From What I know is that the minimum

easy to use. Plus the pro's don't hide

I deleted it because it stated that you
could not withdraw winnings unless at
least 300.00 by check. If I win 50 I
might want it. 300.00 is awful and
restrictive. what good is it to win if
you cant decide on your own money to get
it or now. Sounds to me like it still
belongs to them if you win. Other than
that I really liked the site.

Full tilt poker has a more interesting
interface, with the avatars. They do
have a bounus that seems to take forever
to achieve. The bounus are easier to
achieve on party poker and empire.
There are few fish at the tables. The
greatest part about the site is the
ablility to know you are playing with
some of the world's best. In all this
site is above average for the
entertainment value becuse where else
can you say you sat with Phil Ivey at
the .05/.10 nl table.

I dont have alot to say about fullTilt
poker, but I will say I have really
enjoyed playing there more than at any
other site, The interface is the best
around in my opinion, the graphical hand
histories are nice, i wish they would
get an email option, which i think is in
their future, the bonus is good
although it does take along time to
clear, i cleared my full 600$ worth of
bonus over a month long period playign
at fulltilt exclusivly, the action
is
pretty good there I was able to make
more money at this site than i did at
any other site including party, i have
taken a break from fulltilt but plan on
going back and playing there and party
exclusivly starting in january. I would
like to see more sngs and big multis in
th future
