too tight but great software by propplayer on 08 Mar 2011
rating 5 / 5
This is a great room as far as the software is concerned but there are too many multi-tablers. It gets really annoying when you site down at a 6 handed table and 3 or 4 of the players are playing 10 tables and thus are extremely tight. Other then that I do love the software.

where to start? The Rush poker is pretty cool, I recently played a Rush poker tourney and I really enjoyed it. The Rush poker cash games are fun too. No waiting around for hours for a good hand to play. The Interface is not to bad, I like the sound the chips make when you bet or raise, i know it minor but it sounds cool. When I did my first deposit I was entered into the 100k first depositor freeroll. They sent me my freeroll ticket and dirrections on how to register. I tried looking for the Tourney and could not find it. I sent them an email and 2weeks later I got a response, basically the same description on how to find it as in the first email. The problem with FT is they dont have tourney #'s like most other poker rms. I can find my tourney ticket on my FT account, you would think by clicking on it, it would bring me to the tourneys I could use the ticket for. Not so here. I like alot of stuff about FT, but trying to find a tourney, and their customer service. Terrible. I play here often as the rest of everything is good, combined with rakeback makes it fun to play there.

Full Tilt Poker Room Review

Full Tilt Poker.com Overview

Full Tilt Poker was launched in 2004 and to this day markets itself as the network that lets players "Learn, Chat and Play With The Pros." The site has indeed collected an impressive team of pros, including Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Gus Hansen, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, and others. You can, as Full Tilt claims, learn, chat, and play with these experienced players because they actually join the site's tournaments and ring games, and some even have their own tables. Every week, one of them writes a strategy article for the site, called "pro tips," to help you learn and improve. If you play at Full Tilt you never know who might show up at your table.

Every poker player, from beginner to pro, can feel at home on Full Tilt because it has the widest variety of different games at different stakes. It is the number one online site today for games like Omaha, Stud, and mixed games - HO, HA, HOSE, and HORSE - with hundreds of tables spread across all limits. Full Tilt also has the greatest variety for Hold'em players with limit, pot limit, and no limit games from microstakes to megastakes. At every level of ring game play, these tables are peppered with variants like deep stack, shallow stack, ante, and cap games. They even created Rush Poker, which is the fastest poker game in the world. In this variant, you never have to continue watching a hand play out a hand after you've folded, but rather are immediately moved to a new table with new players. You can play over 300 hands an hour per table!

At any time, Full Tilt has thousands of Sit & Go tournaments running. Buy ins range from $.25 + .05 to $5500 + 200, which are the highest games offered second only to PokerStars. As for ring games, Full Tilt has several game types at every limit - they offer 6max, turbo, heads up, shootout, matrix, knockout, and double stack. They also have satellite Sit & Go's for most large tournaments and token games, where players win tokens that can be exchanged for cash or used to buy into other tournaments. However, one thing to consider about tournaments and Sit & Go's at Full Tilt is that the blinds tend to increase very quickly, making games faster and adding a whole lot of luck into the mix.

If you're into multi-table tournaments, Full Tilt Poker may just be your room of choice. Full Tilt is the favorite destination for many people for large-scale multi-table tournaments and there are good reasons why. First off, they offer over $5 million in guaranteed prize money every week! Plus, each day they have hundreds of thousands of dollars in guaranteed tournaments with a new tournament starting almost every 15 minutes. The buy-ins range from $1 up to $535, so there is something on offer for everyone. Among their most popular tournaments are the $14,500 guaranteed ($3 + $.30 rebuy which gets 2,000+ players), the $8,000 guaranteed ($10 + $2 buy-in, usually over 1400 entries), the $42,000 guaranteed ($24 + $2 buyin, usually 2000+ players), and the $60,000 guaranteed ($100 + $9 buyin, 500+ players). Also, the mother of FullTilt tournaments is the Sunday $750,000 guaranteed ($200 + $16), which is one of the largest tournaments out there today. Furthermore, on the last Sunday of the month that prize pool becomes $1,000,000 guaranteed! There are many more so check out the Full Tilt software and remember there are always satellites being ran into the higher buy-ins.

Full Tilt also hosts a series of multi-table tournaments every three months called the FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series). The 17th series is kicking off next month, with a lot of cash up for grabs. There are 34 scheduled events, with more than $19,000,000 guaranteed! The main event boasts a whopping $3,000,000 guaranteed prize pool alone! This series gets bigger each time, so stay tuned for the next season! Special congratulations to FTR's very own chardrian, who placed 3rd in the FTOPS V main event for over $155,000! For details and hand history from his amazing score, please visit our poker forum. Also another congratulations goes out to Chris Olson (aka ilikeaces86) who won $257,460 in FTOPS VII Event 12.

Playing games at Full Tilt earns you Full Tilt Points, which can be used to buy into Sit & Go's and tournaments or exchanged for merchandise at the Full Tilt store. The store offers items like poker books, custom clothes, DVDs, chipsets, electronics, and even a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Mini Cooper! These points will help you clear FullTilt’s 100% up to $600 initial deposit bonus. This along with $800 worth of monthly money-added tournaments is a great way for beginner’s to boost their bankroll and skyrocket through the microstakes levels.

Full Tilt is, in my Opinion, the best available Pokerroom! Most Pros are signed up there and they got the best Promotions. What I also like are the Features like Rush Poker or the new "multi-entry". You can play Texas Hold´em or Omaha but also Razz, Stud or H.O.R.S.E there and you will always be able to find a table that fits you. If you start playing Poker you have to check out Full Tilt Poker. For new Players there is a 100 % Bonus up to 600$ and a great New-Depositor Freeroll. Hope you enjoyed my littel Review and have a nice day!
