Lobby View / Navigation

Full Tilt offers users a multi-lobby system, which allows you player to choose whatever setup suits you best. There are three options: Standard View, Basic View and Mini View. These can be changed any time with the "lobby" option at the top of any of the three views.

Standard View is the most useful of the three. It is not only attractive, clean, and easy to read, but includes filters and "favorite" options to allow a player to only see games they might be interested in playing. In this view, the lobby is set up with a sideways cascading menu at the top, which lets a player easily filter the games they see based on game type, table type, limit, and stakes. Below, the player can see all games that meet the criteria and sort them by players, average pot size, players per flop, hands per hour, or by stakes, type, or name. These basic options help you pick and choose the tables you want to play.

Along with the top menus, standard view lets you filter results based on more specific criteria and save those filters as favorites. For example, if you only play 6-max no limit hold'em at $2/4, you could hit the "custom" button under stakes and set the lobby to show you only $2/4 tables, then hit the "Advanced Filters" button and set it to standard 6 handed tables, with any other criteria you want. This is an easy and intuitive system for finding the games you want to play.

Below Standard View is Basic View. This option works the same way, but is much easier. It simply has the player choose an option from six menus - currency (real or play), type (ring, Sit & Go, or tournament), game (Hold'em, Omaha, Stud, or Mixed), limit (fixed, pot, or none), and stakes. It then gives you the option to immediately join a game, or to see all the options under the Standard View. Basic View is easy and fast, but does not let a player choose what table he or she plays on and does not support filters.

Finally, Mini View is, as the name gives a way, basically a miniature version of Standard View. Less information is shown on the lobby and the graphics have been rearranged so that you're met with a much smaller window. If screen real estate is an issue this could be a great view for you, as everything is much more compact but you can still pick and choose the information you want at your fingertips through the lobby's widget system, explained further below.

This level of ease is simply mind-blowing, and undoubtedly Fill Tilt Poker is setting the bar high when it comes to Poker Site Lobbies. Table Features

First are the resizable tables. This is becoming a must-have feature for the big online poker rooms today, and is great for multi-tabling without a large monitor (or dual display). You can also tile or cascade your multiple tables for easy organizing. Options allow you to save your current view of the tables, so the next time you login the tables will automatically arrange in that order (plus you can save up to 5 different layouts).

There are also multiple views, classic round table style or racetrack view (a more oval poker table), either with or without avatars. The preferred seating is also a very nice feature, which always puts you in the same spot when you sit down. Full Tilt Poker also has a time bank, which is great for making tough decisions when you need a little extra time. One more refinement of this option is that the amount of time given is based on a player’s stake, so $10 players will get less than $1000 players. Avatars

When playing at a table, you will immediately notice the catchy cartoon avatars that are displayed. Initially, one may not like them or think them cheesy, but they grow on you. They have four displays (normal, happy, sad, and angry), which is a unique feature enabling you to show your emotion. There are so many things you can customize at the table that it would be impossible to list them all here, but these are the ones we consider the best. It is also possible to turn off the avatars completely, for a cleaner view.

Instant Hand History

While playing, there is an instant hand history function at the table. Just pressing "last hand" in the upper right hand corner will show your last 50 hands played at that table using a replay format display. All you have to do is press play on any given hand history, and the action will repeat itself in front of your eyes, complete with player hesitations and table talk. This is a great function, which enables you to very easily look through your hands and analyze your opponents’ play all without skipping a beat on your current hand. It also includes a text version that can be automatically saved on your computer.
