What is it?
Full Tilt Poker introduced Black Card as a special thanks to players that put in many hours of poker. Essentially, it is a collection of perks given to high volume players. These perks include an exclusive store, personalized customer service, and double the Full Tilt Points. Also, Black Card members will get VIP treatment at live poker events such as access to the Pro's Choice World Series of Poker suite. Lastly, players will receive a physical Black Cards to show the world they are part of this exclusive club.
How Do I Get a Black Card?
Access to this exclusive club requires players to put in consistent hours of poker. Players must average 500 Full Tilt Points per day over the last 99 days plus the current day. This basically means 50,000 Full Tilt Points must be earned over the course of 100 days. This is no easy task, especially for microstakes players. On the other hand, unlike VIP memberships offered at some other sites, players do not need to wait a year to receive their rewards.
Players can easily track their progress on their personal Black Card page in the My Promotions section of the cashier. Additionally, Full Tilt Poker has created a Black Card Status Widget for the lobby that will display a player's 100-day Full Tilt Point average.
For Black Card members that dip below the 500 points average at any time, a grace period of 50 days will be given to bring the average back over 500 points. If a player does not pick their average back up by the end of the grace period, Black Card status will be revoked.
The Black Card Store
Black Card members will have access to an exclusive store where they can exchange their Full Tilt Points for tons of cool stuff. The store is currently divided up into four sections: Cash Bonuses, Electronics, UK/EU Electronics, and Luxury with more items coming soon.
The most important store item for all poker players is the cash bonus. Full Tilt Poker offers five different cash bonuses for $2,000, $500, $250, $100, and $50 in cash. These cash bonuses cost 480,000, 125,000, 65,000, and 28,500 FTPs, respectively. However, cash is not immediately deposited into a player's real-money account. Full Tilt Poker requires players to clear the bonus at a rate of $0.04 per Full Tilt Point earned. Players will have a total of 90 days to clear the bonus.
The electronics department of the store has tons of cool gadgets for poker players to buy. It is divided into two different parts: an electronics section where all members can trade FTPs and another section that is exclusive to UK and EU players. Electronics available to all players include 60-inch, 52-inch, and 46-inch Sony BRAVIA 3D HD television sets, a 24-inch touch screen MSI personal computer, and a Sony 3D Blu-ray player. UK and EU poker players will have access to LG LCD 3D-ready television sets, a Panasonic Camcorder, and a Samsung 3D Blu-ray Player.
Perhaps the coolest selection of items among online poker sites is found at Full Tilt Poker's luxury item store. Here, players can buy expensive cars with their Full Tilt Points. These awesome vehicles include a Tesla Roadster 2.5, a range Rover HSE LUX, a Mercedes CLS550, a BMW Z4 sDrive35is Roadster, and a BMW K 1300S motorcycle. No need to visit the showroom when Full Tilt Poker is ready to reward its players with cool cars just for playing poker!
Additional Perks
As mentioned, Black Card members also receive double the Full Tilt Points at all tables and personalized customer support. Double Full Tilt Points are available at all tables, including Happy Hour tables. Please note that, since Black Card points only pertain to base points, Black Card members will receive 3x the Full Tilt Points at Happy Hour tables. For example, a Black Card member earns 100 Full Tilt Points at a Happy Hour table which also earns him 100 Black Card points and 100 Happy Hour points.
As for personalized customer service, each Black Card member will receive both a welcome email and personalized physical Black Card sent to their home address. Both the welcome email and Black Card will hold the direct email address of the customer service representative dedicated to them.
