Sign-Up to Both Empire and Party
Ok, first of all, let me reiterate the fact that PartyPoker and EmpirePoker are actually the same
poker room. The tables and players are shared across both marketing entities. The only difference
in actual play are the multi-table tournaments. Both poker rooms have their OWN
tournament tables which you can only access through the appropriate interface.
So, that's it, the only difference! Take a look at the below screen shots, you'll see what I mean.

I logged into both EmpirePoker and PartyPoker to take the above screenshots, and I did it
from my one and only home computer! Yes, you can have both on one machine,
and it's not too difficult to do!
So, the ideal solution is to have accounts with BOTH

You will
be able to take advantage of the different bonuses offered by both marketing entities. I'll expand more
on this further below.
If you do not have an account with either PartyPoker or EmpirePoker, you should establish an account
with BOTH. Read this entire page very carefully. For instructions on signing up with PartyPoker,
read these!
It doesn't matter which order your join both poker rooms, but we do suggest joining both.
If you do not have an account with either entity, and would like to open your EmpirePoker account,
skip to the next section!

I already have a PartyPoker account, and would like to set up an EmpirePoker account!
If you already have an account with PartyPoker then you'll have to jump through some extra
hoops to establish your EmpirePoker account, but it can be done quite easily. First of all, you will NOT
be able to set up your LOGIN NAME and PASSWORD at EmpirePoker from the computer where you've been playing
PartyPoker (unless you haven't played in over 30 days). EmpirePoker and PartyPoker track new accounts by
IP address, so if you've been actively playing at PartyPoker from a specific IP address within the
last 30 days, EmpirePoker will not allow you to establish your LOGIN NAME and PASSWORD from that IP.
However, you can establish your LOGIN NAME and PASSWORD from any other IP address and then be able to login
and play from your regular home computer! The only security restriction in place is the
initial creation of the LOGIN NAME and PASSWORD, but once that is completed, you can download, install, login, and play at EmpirePoker
and PartyPoker on the same computer or IP address!
So, this is what you have to do. Download the software, install, and establish your LOGIN NAME and PASSWORD
on a DIFFERENT computer - your work computer, friend's computer, relative's computer, internet cafe, whatever
you need to do.

Choose your bonus, download, and set up your EmpirePoker account!
Choose what kind of bonus structure you would like and download the software and install it on this computer:
(The bonus takes affect when you make your first real money deposit - but you can play for free!)
If you have a PartyPoker account already, and you are now setting up your EmpirePoker account, download
and install the software on any computer that you have not used for PartyPoker (friend, work, relative, etc)
and set up your account name and password. Then download and install the software again on your
home computer (using the same link above), and just log in! It will work!

The Benefits of Establishing Accounts at Both PartyPoker and EmpirePoker
There are huge benefits to having both

accounts. First of all, there is the
initial deposit bonus. So, based on the above links, you can immediately pocket $25 or 20% at
EmpirePoker, and
get the same bonuses at PartyPoker.
But there will be more. If you are a regular PartyPoker player, move your bankroll to EmpirePoker and start playing there.
After a short while, PartyPoker will send you a redeposit bonus, because PartyPoker will think they've
lost your business!!! So you can move your bankroll from EmpirePoker to PartyPoker, or vice-versa, and take
advantage of additional bonuses!!!
There is also the benefit of having a different account name. If you end up playing against the same players
routinely, they may have notes on the style of your play. By setting up a new login with EmpirePoker, now
no one will know who you are or how you play.
And for the few of you that enjoy playing multiple tables at once, you now have the ability to play up to
8 tables simultaneously! PartyPoker limits you to 4 tables at once, but by combining 4 more tables from
EmpirePoker, you have the flexibility to play more than 4 tables at one time.
I've figured it all out, and these are huge benefits to us online poker players.
You have to learn and develop a sound poker strategy to make money at the tables. This is critical.
But you can also make some money by taking advantage of the bonus structures! Making money is fun, go do it.
