Fulgent Media Group Wins Five New Clients
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 2005--Fulgent Media Group, Inc., a full-service media agency, today announced it has won media assignments from five new clients including: Hoovers Inc., NBC Sports, The Holmes Group, Vibram, and Gutter Helmet. These clients add to an already impressive and diverse roster that includes Polaroid Corporation and Iron Mountain among others.

NBC Sports will launch the ultimate national big stakes poker showdown, the National Heads Up Poker Championship in May. he state wants a better handle on charitable Texas Hold 'Em games because it wants a piece of the action. I would like to present a better alternative, a real revenue stream.
Poker is on FIRE! It is the fastest growing sport in the world. It is not a fad but an industry that knows no boundaries other than those of the puritanical hypocrites who probably hold money games in their homes or clubs.
There are at least 34 states that have regulated legal poker rooms (privately owned) with the state sharing in the revenue. There are approximately 260 online sites that enable one to play poker for real money. The combined revenue from these sites is estimated at $11 billion a year. In fact, these sites represent the Net's fastest-growing business. There are Poker Boot Camps, untold books being written on how to play, six major periodicals, and cable and network television programs dedicated to poker tournaments in prime time.
TV and radio advertisements are using poker themes to sell products. Poker is so American that the idea that it is illegal in New Hampshire is offensive to a growing majority. Personally, I am totally against video slot machines because of their addictive nature. However, poker is a social phenomenon that has been that way since it was introduced in the U.S. in the 1800s.
So, I ask, why doesn't the Legislature blaze the same trail as it did when it legalized the lottery and allow poker rooms for the revenue that it will generate? And please, Ms. Ayotte, do not insult the intelligence of our citizens and say that it will promote addictions, organized crime and other socials ills. This is not hard-core gambling. It is as American as apple pie!
