Online Casino Adopts Poker Group Published: 2006-03-02
Party Gaming has announced that it has launched a joint platform for their online casino and their online poker sites. Players will be able to hold joint accounts for the online casino and the poker room. This is not the first time the online casinos have been integrated together.
Online casino giant, Party Gaming, has announced that it has developed a joint and integrated platform for its online casino and online poker sites. The new system will allow online casino players to hold one joint account which will facilitate both the poker rooms and the online casino sectors of the online casino operator. This move has been viewed favorably by the analysts and the markets are reported to have responded accordingly.
The online casino said that players will be able to move seamlessly between the poker and casino sections of the sites and will not have to redeposit or transfer money. Players always prefer to open minimal accounts and to control their money in less online casino accounts. It is a good way for online casino players to have a clearer picture of the winnings and losses and not be fooled by their money being spread over too many accounts.
Party Gaming announced that they would also add their bingo room into this feature soon which would enable movement between the online casino, poker room and bingo room for one account holder. They also said that some new games and products would be launched closer to the summer. The group's shares rose by 1.2% in response to these announcements, which places their value at GBP 5 billion.
