Poker Bonuses

Online casinos are almost always better than their brick-and-mortar counterparts. The bonuses and promotions offered by them are part of the reason why this is so. There are hundreds of online casinos out there with their own bonus rules. Some don't allow players to clear bonuses with roulette play while others make it difficult to clear bonuses at the roulette table or only offer a tiny bonus to roulette players. Researching online casinos and their bonuses is a tedious task. This is why we've compiled a table of online casinos and ordered it from best to worst. All relevant information is included on this tabls below.

How to Play Roulette?

Roulette is one of the easiest casino games to learn. The roulette wheel is composed of slots numbered 1 to 36 with 18 black slots and 18 red slots. It also features a green slot marked 0 and, if playing American roulette, a second green slot marked 00. The ball is rolled inside the wheel and the slot in which the ball stops is the winning number. The roulette table features many different bets based on the outcome of the ball's placement. These bets include the color of the slot, whether it is an odd or even number, or the number itself. Players can even bet a range of numbers on the roulette table.

As mentioned, there are two types of roulette tables: American roulette and European roulette. With one less green slot, European roulette favors the player more than American roulette. Basically, the extra green slot in American roulette is one more opportunity for the house to win wagers placed on even/odd, red/black, and any number range bets. To maximize expected value, players should always play European roulette.

To illustrate this point, we we will examine a scenario where a player bets $10 per wager on red over 100 spins on both American and European roulette. In both games, red/black bets pay 1-to-1 which means our player will win $10 when red lands and lose $10 when it does not. With 38 slots in American roulette (including two zeroes and 18 red slots), red will land 47.37% (18/38) of the time. In other words, our player will win 47.37% of the time and lose 52.63% of the time. The difference between these two percentages (52.63%-47.37%) is the house edge: 5.26% per bet. Basically, the house wins 5.26% of the $10 bet ($0.526) every time our player bets. Over 100 spins, that totals $52.6 that is lost by our player.

Now, let's examine European roulette. Our players makes the same $10 wagers on red over 100 spins. With only 37 slots in European roulette, our player will win 48.65% (18/37) of the time and lose 51.35% of the time. Again, the difference between these two percentages (51.35%-48.65%) gives us a house edge of 2.7% per bet. The house wins 2.7% per $10 bet ($0.27) every time our player bets which only totals about $27 that is lost over 100 spins. This is half of what is lost in American roulette.

The house edge for each bet on the roulette table is the same except for the top line bet (0, 00, 1, 2, 3). Avoid this bet at all costs. The best way to clear the bonus is to play at a European roulette table. Use the table provided to find the best bonus available!
