Now, let's examine European roulette. Our players makes the same $10 wagers on red over 100 spins. With only 37 slots in European roulette, our player will win 48.65% (18/37) of the time and lose 51.35% of the time. Again, the difference between these two percentages (51.35%-48.65%) gives us a house edge of 2.7% per bet. The house wins 2.7% per $10 bet ($0.27) every time our player bets which only totals about $27 that is lost over 100 spins. This is half of what is lost in American roulette.
