Lucky Emperor Casino uses the popular Microgaming software for its casino games. This is a popular platform for both online casinos and poker, and has quite the reputation. They are concerned about your security and fair play, to say the least:
We at Lucky Emperor Casino take security very seriously and have taken extensive steps to protect all aspects of the casino. The casino software uses 128-Bit encryption when data is transferred over the Internet. Each player is issued with a unique account number and players choose their own password, which they alone can access.
Fair Play need never be a concern for our players here at Lucky Emperor Casino. Not only does Lucky Emperor Casino employ an independently reviewed Random Number Generator, but the results are published on Lucky Emperor Casino by independent auditors and can be view on our website or by clicking the independent auditors logo on the bottom of the homepage.
It is important to note that due to the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act, Lucky Emperor Casino no longer accepts US customers.
LuckyEmperor.com Software Interface/Usability
My first impressions of Lucky Emperor were not so good. I thought the website in itself was plain and boring, but its just a website so no real big deal. I then tried to access their online casino to test it out before downloading, and only ran into problems. They have a flash based browser casino that people can play on their website, but I kept getting flash errors and crashes. I would recommend just trying the download version, which I did.
The first thing you will see after installing the casino (which did take longer than I expected!) is the cheesy little intro. I just skipped by this. Next, my eyes were overloaded with the homepage of their lobby. After I got use to everything it wasn't as bad, but there sure are a lot of things crammed into there. The homepage will show new games, give messages from the casino, offer live chat help, and show current promotions. If you want to play the games, click on the “Go To Games Lobby” at the bottom.
There are a couple of ways that you can navigate through the games. One way is on the left side of the lobby, which is broken into New Games, Favorites, Progressive Jackpots, Slots, Tables, Video Pokers, and Unique Games. The other is by pressing the top left most button, which acts as the main menu for the lobby. By hovering over Games, you can select your game this way. I personally just liked using the tabs, but its nice when sites have more than one way to navigate around. One reason I liked it this way is because it shows a preview for every game, along with the rules and payouts. It's nice to touch up on them before betting some money.
There are a couple things I really liked about the lobby at Lucky Emperor Casino. One is the Favorites feature. You can add games to your favorites so they can be easily found next time to play. Just saves a little bit of time. You don't even have to add them, the most recent games you played will appear here. Also, by either pressing the bottom left options button or accessing the menu at the top, you can change which language the lobby and games are in. There are 18 different languages in all! Pressing the “?” button at the top will open the help menu, which can help you around the lobby and teach you the adjustable features.
Overall, I was satisfied while playing at LuckyEmperor. One thing I did notice though, is the default speed is very very slow. This can be adjusted to very fast in the options menu, and I highly recommend it. Also the background noises seem pretty annoying, but can be changed off.
Lucky Emperor Casino Games, Variety, & Blackjack
There is quite the selection at Lucky Emperor. 60+ table games, 15+ Video Pokers, 100+ slots, and other games such as Keno, Bingo, Scratch Card, etc. This is the largest selection I've ever seen at an online casino.
Of these tables games, you will find Blackjack (15 or so varieties), 3 Card Poker, American/European Roulette, Baccarat, War, Poker Ride, Sic Bo, Craps, and more. The blackjacks have many different rules and payouts, and all the differences are shown in the lobby. Also, if you're at the table and need to be reminded, just hover your cursor over the “Rules” usually at the top left of the table. You can find anything from standard blackjack, bonus blackjack, Pontoon, Spanish 21, and even a progressive blackjack table! This has a sidebet of $1 on every single hand, and will award you with the jackpot if you are dealt 777 all diamonds.
While playing table games, there are a couple different types you can sit at. These are the gold series or standard. The gold series is much more appealing, as everything just seems more crisp and the graphics are much better. Everything has more animation and is in more of a 3D. The standard games are with the basic 2D graphics that you find at other casinos. Both of these versions have single and mutli-hand play, up to 5 at a time. One down side to the flashy Gold series is you can not use the autoplay feature, which is actually one of the best features at this casino. The bets range from $1 all the way up to $2000!
If you're into video poker, I'm sure you can find a machine that you enjoy. With over 15 offered, most with 4, 10, 50, or 100 hand play, there is a large selection. They have just standard machines, or special bonus and wild card games. These all have different payouts depending on the specific machine, so check it out before you play. You can wager $.01 up to $.25 on 100 hand poker ($125 per spin with max bet), or $.25 up to $25 on single hand.
There are 21 ways to win a progressive jackpot, 15 slots, 4 table games (Roulette, Triple 7 Blackjack, Poker Ride, and Cyberstud Poker), and 2 video pokers. If you're looking to score big (but with a long shot chance!) then these are the games you should play.
Lucky Emperor .com Cashier & Withdrawals
The cashier is pretty basic at LuckyEmperor. You can access it by selecting Bank in the lobby. On the left side you can navigate to deposit or withdraw, and that's pretty much it. There are no special comp points through the software, nor are their any bonus codes to enter when depositing.
In order to get funds onto Lucky Emperor, you have the choice of the following methods; Visa/MasterCard, Maestro/Solo, Neteller, Click2Pay, FirePay, EZIPay, UseMyBank, PaySafeCard, Moneybookers, Ukash, EcoCard, or Bank Transfer. When creating your account you can chose which currency you would like to play in, EUR€, GBP£, or USD$.
Making withdrawals can be done through; Checks, Wire Transfers, Neteller, EXIPay, Moneybookers, or Click2Pay. Different methods have different pending wait times. For example, a mailed check can take up to 21 days, Neteller 1-2 days, and wire transfer up to 6 days. Here are some things you should know about their withdraw policy:
- Due to increased security procedures, players that have not previously received withdrawals via these methods will be subject to additional verification checks which may take up to 5-7 working days.
- For Players who have deposited using ecash, any withdrawals will automatically be credited back to your ecash account where possible.
- Please note that the minimum withdrawal amount is $50.00.
- The following charges apply and will be deducted from player's withdrawals:
o Mail checks - no cost
o Courier checks - $50.00
o Wire transfer - $30.00
o Canceled checks - $25.00
Most likely you will have to go through a security check on your first withdrawal, which will slow things up.

The $10 free is nice, and can be useful to try out the casino. And who knows, maybe you will even run good and never have to deposit!
LuckyEmperor also offers a 100% up to $100 first time deposit bonus. You can use this bonus after the $10 free, which is nice if you don't happen to run the money up. Lucky Emperor Casino has a nice support desk, and I never had a question go unanswered.
