May was mellow, but yet again, profitable! Once I took that first place at Big J Money's tournament on the first
day of the month, I figured May was going to end up easily in the money, and so I didn't play much... 8 month winning streak
and counting, but it's not really a streak if a simple, tight, and disciplined strategy outplays the average poker player out
there. I switched from Party over to Empire in May. Also, tried Pacific Poker, but didn't like it at all. They only offered
limit holdem, and of course I like no-limit Texas Holdem, and Pacific only allows you to play one table at a time, and I like playing 3
simultaneous tables!! so not the right place for me. Also signed up to PokerStars for the custom FTR tournaments we've hosted.
Now that was a lot of fun! I only played the one tournament, and lost, so you'll see the negative $22 over there. Haven't
played at PokerStars otherwise.
So, I'm writing this as of June 7, I've only played 1 hour of online poker all month so far, hopefully motivation will strike
me to put some effort into the month. I could actually use the extra money, this backyard re-landscaping is costing me a
fortune!
