Full Tilt Poker, the world’s second largest poker site, is hosting a flurry of World Poker Tour Bay 101 Main Event satellites this winter. Until February 26th, players can vie for their $12k prize package in qualifiers with buy-ins ranging from $11 to upwards of $1,000.
Direct Qualifier events will run three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. These are a direct route to the Bay 101 Main Event and feature hefty price tags: $322, $1060, and $640 respectively. If you bink one of these you’ll be going to the WPT Bay 101 Main Event with a shot at winning hundreds of thousands of dollars. The Bay 101 Prize Package includes a $10k Main Event seat and $2,000 spending money.
Satellites to the Direct Qualifiers are also available in a variety of formats including Sit and Gos and Scheduled Tournaments. Most of the WPT Satellites are Turbo or Super Turbo so get ready to shove all-in. Win one of these and you’ll be playing the corresponding Direct Qualifier. Check out Full Tilt’s web page for a full schedule of Bay 101 Satellites.
Bay 101, located in northern California, is a prestigious stop on the World Poker Tour. Past champions include Steve Brecher, Brandon Cantu, and Danny Nguyen. The 2011 WPT Bay 101 Main event is sure to be one of the biggest. First place money is expected to exceed $1,000,000.
