Took $600 in profits to pay for new kick ass Q6600 computer. My 2400+ was not cutting it at all. I could only play one or two tables with HUD stats. Since I need to be multi-tabling this was purely unacceptable. I stopped playing poker for a week straight. This wasn’t that bad since playing sparingly one or two tables wasn’t getting me anywhere anyway! I played yesterday for the first time in a week and got rocked. Constantly getting 3bet preflop or check raised on flop. QQ got rocked twice on the button that I couldn’t get away from. Not to mention people flopping the flush on me when I have AsKc with a board of 27A all clubs. I was out of position and check called all the way down… I lost over 4 buyins, but the good thing is I was smart enough to drop back down to 25nl. I did very well at 50nl, but have lost the proper bankroll. I had a high of $1,507 for those who are counting (me), and am now at a measly $688. I had a day of $184, but lost $130 the next day before I stopped playing for a week.
Game plan now is to shake the obvious rust off from not playing, and get back to the original game plan with 27buyins. I will be starting back at one or two tables, and slowly make my way up multitabling when my confidence gets back.
