The Full Tilt Online Poker Series XVIII is close to its end but that doesn’t mean the action is winding down. Full Tilt Poker has kept the best events for the tail-end of the series. Everything about FTOPS Event 29 was huge and it promised to be a tournament of epic proportions. Hosted by November Niner Michael Mizrachi, the two-day event cost players $2,000 + $100 to enter (the largest buy-in of any of the FTOPS XVIII events). Full Tilt Poker guaranteed a prize pool of $2,000,000 which prompted 1,088 players to register and surpass the guarantee by $176,000. Ten percent of the field, or 108 players, would take home a piece of the prize pool. With players starting with 6,000 chips and blinds starting at 10/20, it was sure to be a long event.

Michael Mizrachi hosted the 29th Event of the FTOPS but did not place. He may have been a bit exhausted from placing fifth in this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event. Mizrachi hails from Miami, Florida and started playing poker at a young age. He dropped out of school, where he was studying to become a doctor, and began to concentrate on poker full-time. He has seen plenty of success in both online and live poker games. He won his first WSOP bracelet and $1.5 million in prize money this year after winning the $50K Players Championship Tournament. He continued to run over the fields at the WSOP by final tabling three other events, including the $10K Main Event. He busted out in 5th place, good enough for $2.3 million.

With three players left, a three-way deal was made between log1c07, Yubaball, and tennisassxy. With log1c07 in the lead at the time, he was awarded the biggest chunk of prize money, $354,807.93. The player in third-place at the time, tennisassxy, went on to win the tournament, the golden jersey, and took home $332,264.82 for her efforts. The rest of the table placed as follows:
