Toni Ojala’s recent win at the Finish Open has proven to be more beneficial than initially thought as he signs on RedKings Poker Team as a Pro for their land based team. Swedish poker pro, Jesper Hoog has also been brought in and signed on for sponsorship with RedKings.
In addition to their previous commitments in the EPT, WSOP and WSOPE, RedKings Poker have tacked on the Aussie Millions and the Gala Coral British Poker Tour. They also plan to add additional tournaments throughout the year.
“We will be building Team RedKings for land based Tournaments in two ways. Firstly, we will be seeking out and sponsoring up-and-coming young exciting Professional poker players who we believe complement and enhance the image of our Poker Room. Secondly we will add to the team those players who make it through our full and extensive program of online qualifiers. Our RedKings team will benefit from us being at every land based major with full support and on the ground representatives,” said a RedKings spokesperson today.
In an effort to sustain a fun and positive RedKings image, they will be working hard on building Team RedKings. Each sponsored player will be given their own page on the RedKings website where they can share their background and experiences with the average player. RedKing Pros will have the ability to post text as well as pictures on their individual pages. In an effort to bring new players to this exciting poker room, RedKings Poker Pros will additionally wear branded gear at each tournament.
