If you’re a fan of Sit & Go tournaments, then you should head to Full Tilt Poker this weekend. Full Tilt announced recently that one of their most popular promotions will be making a reappearance for 48 hours over this upcoming Saturday and Sunday, with tons of cash and prizes – worth more than $150,000 – up for grabs to reward players taking part. That’s right, Super Sit & Go Madness is once again hitting the tables, so make sure you don’t miss out on all the awesome value being thrown around.

The promotion begins at 16:00 ET this Friday the 7th of January, and will run for 48 hours after that. Basically throughout this time you want to be playing as many qualifying Sit & Go tournaments as possible, which will be highlighted green in the Full Tilt lobby, to increase your chances of placing on the leaderboards. Simply playing a huge amount won’t cut the mustard, as you must also have solid results to push yourself ahead of the competition and claim your share of the cash and prizes. A high amount of volume will also be very beneficial.

You won’t have to stay up for 48 hours straight, however, as the weekend is divided into two-hour blocks. That is, there’s a leaderboard with cash prizes for every two hour block for the weekend starting from 16:00 ET on Friday. If you place in the top 7 for any of these two hour blocks you’ll receive cold hard cash. You don’t need to worry about competing against people from higher or lower stakes, either. Each time-block has four leaderboards, broken up by stakes with Group A being $1 to $2 buy-ins, Group B $5 to $11, Group C $20 to $35 and Group D buy-ins ranging from $50 to $110.

With 48 hours divided into two hour blocks, you have twenty-four chances to win, no matter which group you fall into. Leaderboard points are earned not only for taking part in Sit & Go Tournaments but also for where you place, and at the end of each two-hour block the top seven players in each of the four groups receive a cash prize, ranging from a modest $1 for the seveth-place getter in Group A up to an awesome $500 for the first-place getter in Group D. There is also an overall leaderboard, which is not your score for the entire 48 hours, but rather the best scores in any two-hour block. This means even if you’re the clear winner in your current block there’s still reason to play more, as at the end of the weekend you could be crowned overall leader.

There are even more ways to win than the leaderboards, however, so even if you’re not ambitious enough to try to shoot for first, you should definitely still be taking part. Cash in any Sit & Go and you’ll receive a raffle ticket, with over 1000 prizes being given away in the Madness Raffle, including tournament tickets and the Full Tilt Poker Deluxe Home Game Package. Win three Sit & Go tournaments and you’ll receive entry into the Super Madness Freeroll, which has an amazing $75,000 prize pool and takes place the following weekend on Saturday the 15th. With so many awesome ways to win you’d truly be a fool to not take part in the Full Tilt Super Sit & Go Madness!
