For me personally, it seems like just yesterday I was playing poker with PokerTracker 2. It was a great tool to help players work on their game right after their sessions or even studying play from months before. Not to mention PokerAceHUD worked well with it, creating in game help. Then, there was a huge upgrade with PokerTracker 3. The poker world was turned upside down with that release as it competed with Hold’em Manager forcing the program to be at its best at all times.

But now, PokerAce has officially announced that a new PokerTracker 4 release will be revealed later this year. A preview video can be seen at their website and they plan on releasing weekly sneak-preview type videos to showcase its features.

While there is no set price right now (even to upgrade), the company plans on releasing a beta version in the third quarter of this year and then release a commercial version later in the fourth quarter of the year.

I will only talk about a few key features but be prepared that there should be a large amount of new goodies for players. That said, some of these will be taken out by commercial release based on beta testers’ feedback.

Without further ado, one of the best features is that the most popular third party features are already incorporated in the program and buyers will not have to pay extra. This is great because Hold’em Manager forces customers to buy these third party programs.

On top of this there will be:

- NoteTracker automated note system
- Big Blind per player stack size counts
- Multi-layer reporting systems
- Visualize statistics using the Holdem Hand Range Visualizer
- Find statistical anomalies with the Global Player Scatter Graph
- Easier tournament tracking
- ICM analysis and Quizzes featuring hand range and player modeling editors

There’s all of this and a ton more! It’s important to realize I only briefly touched on the features so make sure to check out all the new information. Their weekly updates should be very interesting.
