PokerStars is helping their Norwegian players out of the cold and into bathing suits sitting poolside. Their exclusive Norwegian PCA tournaments are satellite tournaments to the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in The Bahamas. The PCA is the poker event that sets off the new poker year in style. Most poker professionals make their way to the tournament where epic parties are held and players compete for over $15,000,000 in prize money.

One way to qualify for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is PokerStars’ Steps Sit & Go qualifiers. These qualifiers will run from November 21st to December 10th. There are four steps in all and each qualifier awards one seat to the next step. The final $38 buy-in step awards a seat to the Norwegian PCA Final on December 11th. Players can bypass the steps process and buy directly into the Norwegian PCA Final for $172. The tournament will award one 2012 PCA package for every $15,780 (the value of the package) in the prize pool with an additional package added by PokerStars.

The second way to qualify for the PokerStars Caribbean is by reloading one’s account with at least $10 in December. After reloading, players will receive a ticket to an exclusive freeroll on December 18th awarding a PCA package.

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is held annually at the world-famous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The series begins on January 5th and culminates on January 14th in 2012. It has become infamous for the epic parties thrown for and by poker players. It is a must-attend for all poker players!
