This past Sunday was a big day for FTOPS XVIII with three big events being run through out the day.  Event 13, hosted by FullTilt professional Hans Vogl, was a $300+$22 NL Freezeout with deep starting stacks. The high-stakes major attracted quite a field including more than 50 FullTilt “red pros” much like Vogl.  Some of the bigger names making the top 540 and inside the money were Ram Vaswani (280th), Stuart Paterson (426th), Michael Craig (269th),  Maciek Gracz (110th),  Annette Oberstard (181st), Andrew Feldman (399th), and the low pro Adam Schoenfeld (65th).

Besides the large FullTilt contingent there were more than 4,700 players in Event 13 which created a massive $1,414,500 prize pool. The $1,350,000 guaranteed event did not have to pay out any overlay as the late registration period let just enough players sneak in. The final table was full of solid players including a handful of professionals looking to take down more than a quarter million dollar score.  First to bust was “roo_400″ who earned just over $15,000 for his efforts. The five-figure score does not even crack the top-10 on a resume that includes a SCOOP and Wednesday Quarter Million win earlier this year.

Finishing one spot better might have been one of the two best players at the final table, Jeremiah “Believer8219″ Vinsant, a highly-ranked tournament professional with nearly a dozen $50k+ scores to his name. Vinsant has seen great success on FullTilt in the past having won the $1K Monday on three separate occasions. His biggest score came in another tournament series in 2009 where he nearly won event 33 of the PokerStars WCOOP before he fell in 3rd place for $114,080. He also won the Sunday500 last year for $87,400 as well as the Wednesday Quarter Million for $67,3242.  Busting right after Vinsant was Kenny “SpaceyFCB” Hallaert who earned a nice $32,534 payday.  Another high-stakes MTT pro, Hallaert has also won a few majors online including the Sunday Warm-Up on PokerStars for $107,844 and the $300k on Party Poker for $45,746.  It was no secret, the rest of the final table was more than happy to see these three great players busted in successive fashion as soon as play resumed.

With just four players left one of the more experienced players left was Texan Andrew “SkillVille” Weisner who earlier this year won FTOPS XVII Event #9 for $110,669. The highly-respected tournament professional also won the Sunday Second Chance on PokerStars for $49,722 just last weekend.  However the final table again caught a break as he busted in 4th place and had to settle for a $93,357 payday. “00s” would bust soon thereafter and the final two player “not_ya_friend” and “cardking303″ decided upon a chip-chop which handed $227,575 to not_ya_friend and handed him the title of Event 13.

Congratulations goes to not_ya_friend and all 540 players who made the money in FullTilt FTOPS XVIII Event #13!!
