For one week only Full Tilt is doubling the size of its weekly guaranteed tournaments. The $32,000 Guarantee becomes the $64,000 Guarantee, the Turbo Fiddy becomes the Turbo Hundo, and the $80,000 Rush Guarantee becomes the $160,000 Rush Guarantee. Guaranteed events start at $1 so everyone can add value to their multi-table tournament experience. Sunday, January 30th is going to be an epic day. The mammoth prize pools of the Sunday Brawl, $750k Guarantee, and Sunday Mulligan will explode by over $1,000,000!

During Double Guarantees Week all events will be Multi-Entry Tournaments. Basically, you can register in the same tournament multiple times. Obviously, you will not be seated at the same table if you have multiple entries in a tournament. You can also use multiple entries as an “extra life”. For example, if you are eliminated in a Multi-Entry Tournament, you can simply register again to get back in the action. The number of entries allowed depends on the tournament. Unlimited entries are not possible.

Sometimes it’s impossible to avoid being seated with yourself. When that happens, your entries will be merged. To illustrate, you have three entries left and the tournament is about to break down to two tables. Your entry on the table that is about to be closed will be combined with your smallest stack. The words MERGE will flash, notifying you of an impending merger. A pop-up box will also appear notifying all seated players of the merger.

Multi-Entry Tournaments will also highlight FTOPS XIX. The nineteenth installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series starts February 6, 2011. Nine events, including the $3 million guaranteed Main Event, will feature the multi-entry format. Over $22 million is guaranteed during the series.
