Full Tilt Poker is the king of knockout tournaments. This was apparent on Sunday when nearly 9,000 runners turned up for FTOPS XVI Event 7, No Limit Hold ‘Em with bounties. Each player had a $20 bounty on their head, and the remainder of their buy-in formed a prizepool that exeeded $850,000!

The event was hosted by former hockey player, Greg Mueller. Mueller boasts 2 WSOP Bracelets and nearly $2 million in tournament winnings. Although Mueller did not make the money, Keith Sexton and Bruno Stefanelli managed to sneak ITM to represent Team Full Tilt.

The final table was packed with talent. Finishing in eight place was Craig ‘HU4ROLLZ’ Bergeron. Bergeron finished runner up in FTOPS XIV Event 16. Additionally, he finished 4th in PokerStars EPT Deauville, earning over $300,00.

Finishing in fourth was another solid grinder, partypete91. In February, partypete91 took down the Cake $50,000 Guaranteed on Cake Poker.

In the end, Steve ‘LuvYouLongTime’ Wan claimed ultimate victory and a six figure score. Wan is a pure sniper when it comes to bounty tournaments. Earlier this month, he took down the $35,000 KO Guarantee on Full Tilt Poker collecting $9000. The day before, he won the $50,000 Guaranteed on PokerStars to the tune of $14,000.
