Ladbrokes-Leaderboards Update - May 9th

Before I get into this week’s Ladbrokes MTT Leaderboards report, I’d like to congratulate Liv Boeree who won the Ladbrokes Poker European Ladies Championship.
She defeated 51 of Europe’s top female players including ones such as Bev Pace, Annette Obrestad, and Michelle Orpe en route to taking the crown. For the win, she gets a free seat in the WSOP Main Event and $30,000 to go along with it.
Now to the leaderboards. Last week, lindsay73 took advantage of a new start and claimed the lead with 364 points by Saturday. But SOXxxxxx wasn’t far behind with 310 points.
However, this lead for lindsay73 was short-lived as SOXxxxxx wrestled it away from her and two days later and hasn’t looked by since. Currently, SOXxxxxx is ahead in a major way with 1078 points while lindsay73 is a very distant second with 674 points. See the current standings right here.
Last month’s champ, wildrick, is tenth place as of now but it should be noted that wildrick made a big run in the second half of the month to win the $2,000 and first place in April. Track his progress here.
It will be difficult to do so now with SOXxxxxx ahead of wildrick by 753 points. Perhaps someone else will step up to challenge SOXxxxxx this month and it could come from anyone of the people in the top 10:
