Snooker legend Steve “5K2″ Davis is set to appear in a series of exclusive poker tournaments for the European poker and sportsbook giant Ladbrokes. With two events already in the books, this dangerous player is becoming harder and harder to knock out.
The next episode kicks off on October 26th at 19:30 GMT, under the simply named Steve “5K2″ Davis Bounty moniker. The buy in for this event will be £5 + £0.50. Players will start with 2,000 chips, with the blind increase timer set at ten minutes. There will be one half-price rebuy and one add-on allowed, giving competitors a chance to pad their stacks.
The bounty will not activate until after the rebuy clock expires, which will allow both the pro and his pursuers to get their feet firmly set. £200 will be awarded to the player who eventually knocks out the six-time World Title winner, with an additional £50 bounty going to the one who beats his manager, MGR – Richard. The first person who bumps of David will also receive an exclusive “I knocked out Steve Davis” mug, which will serve as proof of their impressive feat.
Also, in honor of David’s aforementioned six title wins, Ladbrokes is offering an extra incentive beyond the bounties. The player who finishes sixth overall in the main tournament will receive tickets for a top snooker tournament.
Once the guest of honor is officially eliminated from the main event, he will join up with a cash or sit and go tournament, where players will have another chance to chat with the crafty veteran. Ladbrokes will be giving away some tickets to their Poker Cruise Tournament, which will give players a shot to earn their spot on the £4,000 Ladbrokes Poker Cruise this January.
