Getting things started

Mission: Make money, build up bankroll, move up stakes

After playing on and off over the past couple of years on a couple different sites I have never lost a buyin playing poker.  I have taken $20 to over $1500 on two different sites.  All of this was while learning.  I ran good and I ran bad losing most of what I won.  I usually played just to play and won.  Tried to get good, and lost it all back.  Now I’ve read books and posts to gain some insights.  I’ve used 3rd Party Poker tools to help get reads on my opponents.  Now comes a challenge.

Challenge: Playing .25NL multitabling and win $400/week

Tools: Using Poker Tracker to log everything, Poker Spy, Poker Stove, and using a spreadsheet as well

I believe I have plugged some holes in my game by using Poker Tracker along with researching and reading.  I don’t have a winrate because I either kill the game or get killed.  I hope that after 20,000 hands I should have an idea on a winrate.  I’ve taken a week off from playing any poker, and now I’m all set up for the challenge.

Bankroll: $750 + will be getting Rakeback on my play
