These days you can’t look much further than Full Tilt Poker for an example of an industry-leading poker room that keeps players happily coming back again and again. The biggest reason that the room has enjoyed so much success is that they are constantly doing everything that they can to keep loyal players happy. In a recent move they’re showing that they’re willing to look wider than that, and their latest promotion is less about rewarding loyalty and more about enticing back old players who may have strayed, by offering them a generous no-deposit bonus.

While Full Tilt Poker hasn’t made a large deal of it in terms of announcements on their website, probably to curb the jealousy of loyal players, users with inactive accounts who used to play on the site have been receiving emails offering them no-deposit bonuses. The bonuses themselves vary in size, but several hundred dollars seems to be standard, and since no deposit is required everyone is entitled to the maximum amount of their bonus, rather than a certain percentage of what they can afford to deposit at that time.

That said, the bonus doesn’t of course instantly appear in your account and must instead be unlocked. This is done in a very standard fashion, with players earning Full Tilt Points whenever they play in real money ring games and tournaments, and needing a certain number of Full Tilt Points to unlock the bonus. It seems to work out that every 25 Full Tilt Points earned corresponds to a dollar of bonus money, meaning that it’s not the easiest bonus to clear by any means, but is still very worthwhile.

You only have thirty days to clear the bonus, although if you’re worrying that a lot of that time may be already ticking away that’s thirty days from the date you accept the bonus in the Full Tilt Poker software, rather than thirty days from when the promotion launched. Although it may be difficult to clear the full amount, especially if you’re lucky enough to have been rewarded with one of the larger bonuses such as $500, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll go away empty handed as the bonus is released into your account in $20 increments, every 500 Full Tilt Points you earn.

If you’re a regular on the Full Tilt Tables then you’ll have to wait until the Iron Man Challenge Year-End Bonus at the end of this month to be rewarded, but if you’ve been playing at other sites for a few months then it’s very worth your while to check your email inbox thoroughly or log back on to the Full Tilt software. Christmas may have come early and there could be several hundreds of dollars sitting there in bonus money just waiting to be cleared over the holiday season!
