Starting at 16:00 ET on Friday, November 5, Full Tilt Poker will host 48 hours of Sit & Go Madness. As the name implies, frantic action is the mode of choice. The more sit & go’s a player participates in, the better their chances of winning cash and prizes.
For grinders planning on working through the weekend, this will be a great way to earn extra scratch. Qualifying for the event is easy – simply choose the green-colored Sit & Go games from the lobby menu, and you’ll be on your way to earning a piece of the $150,000 in cash and prizes ready for distribution.
Full Tilt has sorted their qualifying games into four groups, ranked by the buy-in number: A ($1-$2), B ($5-$11), C ($20-$35), and D ($50-$110). The event’s 48 hours will also be broken in two-hour blocks, at the end of which each of the top seven players in each category will be paid for their efforts. Prizes range from $1 at the bottom tier of Group A all the way up to $500 for the top spot in Group D.
The event will run its course at 16:00 ET on Sunday, November 7. Until then, players will be jockeying for position atop the Overall Leaderboard. The top two 48-hour earners in each group will then receive entry into the $5K Sit & Go Freeroll, scheduled to take place at 15:05 ET on Saturday, November 13.
In order to amplify the madness, Full Tilt is also adding Super Turbo Sit & Go’s to the lineup. Because these are usually completed in around 15 minutes, however, they count for only the half as many points as their standard cousins.
Perhaps the biggest chunk of the prize pool goes to players who earn their way into the $75,000 Super Madness Freeroll. Qualifying for the event is rather simple. All one must do is win three green Sit & Go’s over the promotion’s 48 hour lifespan. A tournament ticket will then be issued automatically, granting access to this prestigious money-maker.
Also generating significant buzz is Full Tilt’s Madness Raffle, which features over 1,000 prizes ready to be given away. Qualifying for this promotion is even easier. All a player must do is make the money in any of their myriad green Sit & Go’s. Each cash will earn one raffle ticket, which could be good for anything from Full Tilt hats and shirts to Steps Tournament tickets. One lucky player will earn an awesome FTP Deluxe Home Game Package, featuring a poker table, chip set, and two leather poker deck cases (one red, one black).
