Hot on the heels of the latest FTOPS running, Full Tilt is preparing to launch another similar venture into the junior circuit. For those players who may not have been able to afford a berth with the big boys, this latest running of the MiniFTOPS will offer all the same action and excitement at a fraction of the cost.

First on tap will be their a $20+$2 No Limit Hold’em tournament, set to kick off on Wednesday, September 8^th at 21:00 ET. Players who join up with Event #1 will be competing for a prize pool with $200,000 in guaranteed money. The host for this tournament has yet to be announced, but you can be sure it’ll be an exciting choice, whoever the Full Tilt brass select.

Following this initial tournament, players will be treated to a full slate of poker action. All told, 33 other events will be held in MiniFTOPS XVII, featuring Texas Hold’em plus both Pot Limit and Hi/Lo Omaha as well as 7-Card Stud. Perhaps most exciting is the inclusion of several Rush Poker style tournaments, which will allow players to face off at breakneck speeds.

The Main Event is set to be held on Sunday, September 19 at 17:00 ET. Carlos Mortenson will host this $70+$5 No Limit Hold’em event, with a prize pool of $1,000,000 guaranteed. Satellites will be available, of course, and should run throughout the preceding weeks.

Players should also be aware of the MiniFTOPS Two-Day Event, which will feature $200+$16 gameplay and a prize pool reaching $600k in guaranteed cash. It’s the highest buy-in on the schedule, but promises to be worth the extra entry price.
