In order to cater to their ever-growing population of high rollers, Full Tilt Poker has announced several improvements to their exclusive Black Card Experience.

In the past, players who managed to earn an average of 500 Full Tilt Points over a 100-day stretch would be rewarded with the prized Black Card status. This honor would also qualify them for a 2x multiplier for FTP earnings in the future. At the time of launch, this was considered to be the pinnacle of online poker achievement.

But as players have pushed themselves even further, Full Tilt has found it necessary to add two new tiers to the Black Card Experience. Those players who manage to earn a rolling average of 1,500 FTPs will now be eligible for a 3x point multiplier, while those averaging 3,000 or more will net an incredible 4x advantage.

Unlike the standard 2x multiplier tier, however, these higher reaches offer no grace period. If a player falls below the necessary threshold at the 3x/4x level, they will drop back down to regular Black Card status.

Still, this is an exciting new level for players to shoot for. Full Tilt’s marketing whizzes are sure to see legions of players competing to attain these high honors. It’s promotions such as this one that have made Full Tilt one of the top poker rooms on the ‘net today.
