FTOPS XVII is approaching quickly.
The prestigious online tournament series is slated to begin on August 4 with a $216 NL Hold ‘Em event. The inaugural Full Tilt Online Poker Series featured a prizepool of $1 million. FTOPS XVII boasts $19 million in guaranteed money and over 30 events. In addition to Hold ‘Em and its variants, players can register for HORSE, Pot Limit Omaha, 7-Game, and Razz events. The $640 Main Event on August 15 marks the end of the quarterly series.
Rush Poker appears to be slowly creeping into the tournament line up. Full Tilt Poker hosted 3 Rush Events last series and have bumped the number of Rush Poker Tournaments up to 6 with regards to FTOPS XVII. Rush Poker is a hyper turbo version of poker that essentially eliminated wait time before hands. After hitting ‘Fold’, players will instantly teleport to a brand new table with different players. Full Tilt Poker keeps the action fast and furious by forcing players to play short-handed when less than 30 players remain. The final table is played in ‘Standard Mode’ when all but 9 players have been eliminated.
FTOPS V introduced the ever popular two day event that is still going strong today. A hefty buy-in and deep stack structure attracts big name pros such as Phil Ivey and John Juanda. Players can qualify for the $2100 event for just $3.30.
Recently, the team at Full Tilt Poker has taken a step back and looked at the entire FTOPS landscape. A leaderboard was created to rank players based on their finishes in a particular series. The players with the most leaderboard points will win a Full Tilt Poker Custom avatar and a $10,000 prize package that includes entry to every event of the subsequent FTOPS (except the Two-Day Event).
Register now and start claiming your share of $19,000,000 August 4 – August 15.
