Celebrity Main Event Odds

With the 2008 World Series of Poker (WSOP) approaching there is more excitement and anticipation by the day. Today sports-betting giant and online poker site Bodog.com posted odds for which celebrity poker player will go the farthest in the this years Main Event.
The best odds are 5 to 1 given to actors James Woods, Jennifer Tilly and Shannon Elizabeth, and tennis player Yevgeny Kafelnikov. Talkshow host Montel Williams is next standing alone at 13 to 2. Then at 9 to 1 are actors Ben Affleck, Don Cheadle and Norm MacDonald and again tennis player Boris Becker.
At 14 to 1 is Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander, Everybody Loves Raymond’s Ray Romano and Brad Garrett, actor Tobey Maguire and Godsmack guitarist and drummer Sully Erna. And rounding out the bottom is controversial baseball star Jose Canseco, former world heavyweight champion boxer Lennox Lewis, magician Penn Gillette, and actor Hank Azaria at 30 to 1.
