Bodog’s King of the Felt promotion is heating up! This is one of Bodog’s more popular promotions giving players a chance to win a seat at the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event. Players are rewarded for playing and placing in sit & gos. The more sit & gos a player wins in a week, the better the prize they’ll receive. This promotion, along with the huge overlays on their scheduled tournaments, makes it extra profitable to be a tournament player at Bodog.

Qualifying to be the King of the Felt is easy. Players that place in three sit & gos automatically receive one draw ticket for the King of the Felt Draw. Players that place between 6-8 sit & gos will receive two draw tickets and be entered into the $1K Freeroll. Players that win more than eight sit & gos will be given three draw tickets, entry to the $1K Freeroll, and entry to the $500 Freeroll. Heads-up, Beginner, and Double Up tournaments are all excluded from the King of the Felt promotions.

Draws will be held every Monday. The player whose name is drawn will play the reigning King of the Felt for $1,000. If one player holds the King of the Felt title for five weeks, they’ll win $2,500 (on top of the weekly $1,000 prize). Players that hold the title for ten weeks in a row will play a heads-up match against one of Bodog’s poker pros for a chance to win a 2011 World Series of Poker seat. Additionally, their names will be added to the King of the Felt High Score Board which shows the most consecutive wins by any King of the Felt.

For the past nine weeks, Peeps has been dominating the King of the Felt tournament. Week after week, he has been taking challengers to school, winning $11,500 on the way, and getting closer to his chance at winning a seat to the WSOP Main Event. Best of luck to him!
