Several months after parting with its namesake, DoylesRoom now has a new owner. Americas Cardroom (also known as ACR) has put the finishing touches on a purchasing agreement which will bring all of the site’s assets into their fold.
According to statements from several individuals within ACR, the plan is to change very little about the present DoylesRoom setup. The new owners are, apparently, big fans of the latest software changes implemented by the former ownership group.
“We’re very excited with the acquisition of DoylesRoom and the resulting expansion of the Americas CardRoom brand,” said one ACR spokesman. “DoylesRoom’s new software that’s proving to be a player favorite coupled with their recent success in serving US players made the company attractive for a takeover.”
Most importantly, ACR does not plan to alter the established roster of promotions at DoylesRoom. Players who are hard at work earning their bonuses should continue their climb, without fear of a sudden withdrawal of benefits.
“Players and affiliates,” the source continued, “can rest assured that their balances are safe and secure and Americas CardRoom will honor all of the existing DoylesRoom agreements. With more liquidity being injected into the operation of the business, players can expect to see bigger guarantees, better promotions, and greater incentives for being a part of the Americas CardRoom community.”
Launched in 2001, Americas Cardroom was one of the first members of the internet poker boom. Now, after several years away from the game, they are prepared to enter a much more difficult market. While the post-Black Friday industry has wreaked havoc on some of the more established enterprises, smaller companies like ACR have been snapping up poker skins left and right. As a member of the Yatahay network, their player base has seen a significant rise as of late.
One of the best ways to earn new users, of course, is through promotional offers. Toward this end, says a company press release, “Starting November 1st Americas CardRoom will have a $65,000 Rake Race and a brand new online poker series called the ‘Americas CardRoom Online Super Series’ (ACROSS).”
