Absolute Poker has a new idea for their players and that idea involves diamonds. You heard right, diamonds. They’re giving away $45,000 worth of diamonds to those who qualify in their real money games by accumulating the right number of credits.

It’s all part of the new FAME program which allows players to earn credits for the real money games they participate in. The more credits you earn, the higher your status level rises. At the end of the month the number of credits you have accumulated determines the benefits you will receive, including the fabled diamond giveaway. Some of the other benefits include opportunities to buy gas, merchandise among other exciting prizes. Another exciting facet of this is the higher your status is, the faster a player can earn their prizes. All the more incentive to play more!
In total Absolute Poker is giving away 23 diamonds ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 in value. To earn these a player must either earn the most points in a month that the event is running or be one of the first five to earn 10,000 credits in any of the given months. Finally, the first five players to hit a diamond straight flush will also win a diamond.
