888 Holdings, the company behind the popular 888poker client, has posted record numbers over the third quarter of the financial year. With their growth weighing in at an impressive 42 percent, the group is now showing total revenues in excess of $86 million.

“888 revealed,” said iGaming Business, “that this improvement in business-to-consumer revenues was also a twelve percent boost quarter-on-quarter while total revenues for the first nine months of 2011 rose 26 percent year-on-year to reach $240 million.”

Based in Gibraltar, 888 markets their online gaming empire all over the globe. Over their latest strong stretch, business-to-consumer operations posted the most profit, accounting for $74 millions worth of the aforementioned gains.

“The continuing focus on our core competencies,” said 888 deputy chairman Brian Mattingley, “has led to another excellent quarter and the highest quarterly revenue ever achieved in 888′s history… Our compelling offering and successful marketing campaigns have helped to build on our outstanding first nine-month performance and drive player numbers to record levels. Strength across all of our platforms leaves us well positioned for the future.”

Known for their strong promotional and bonus offers, 888poker is home to an ever expanding user base. Currently, there are more than 442,000 players active within their system, representing a 167 percent year-on-year increase.
