The entire VIP Scheme is based on bet365 Poker's Merit Points. To understand the VIP, one must understand exactly how Merit Points are earned. Luckily, unlike some other poker rooms, bet365 Poker keeps this formula simple. For every $1 in rake or tournament fee paid, players are awarded 15 Merit Points. The bet365 Poker cash tables feature a maximum rake of $2.50 which means players can earn up to 37.5 points per hand. There is no limit to how many points a player can earn as a result of a tournament.
Players start off at the bottom of the totem pole: the Bronze level. These players are still eligible for a cash reward: a $50 bonus for 7,500 Merit Points. Each point is essentially worth $0.006667 with this cash reward. Players must pay $500 in rake or tournament fees to earn 7,500 Merit Points. Tournament players may want to use the same 7,500 Merit Points for a $55 Tournament Toker reward which increases the value of a Merit Point to $0.0073333.
Of course, the rewards improve as a player climbs the ladder. Silver VIP players must earn 1,000 Merit Points per month and they have a number of options for what to do with their Merit Points. On the cash reward side of things, they can either trade 20,000 Merit Points for $150 or 50,000 Merit Points for $600. This puts the value of each Merit Point at $0.0075 and $0.012, respectively. Alternatively, tournament players can trade their Merit Points in for a $109, $215, or $320 tournament token for 10,000, 17,500, and 22,500 Merit Points, respectively. The value of each Merit Point is $0.0109, $0.01229, and $0.014222, respectively.
Gold VIP Scheme members must earn 10,000 Merit Points per month to achieve and maintain this status. They can clear a $1,350 cash reward for 100,000 Merit Points or a $3,500 cash reward for 200,000 Merit Points. The former cash reward values its Merit Point at $0.0135 while the latter values its Merit Point at $0.0175. A tournament token reward is available at 35,000 Merit Points for a $530 tournament token. Each Merit Point is worth $0.015 in tournament money with this reward.
Finally, the Platinum VIP level is where players really reel in the rewards. Only the highest-volume players reach this level with a minimum requirement of 25,000 points per month to unlock this level. Five cash rewards are available for Platinum players: $7,500 for 375,000 Merit Points at $0.02/MP; $17,500 for 700,000 Merit Points at $0.025/MP; $45,000 for 1,500,000 Merit Points at $0.03/MP; $80,000 for 2,500,000 at $0.032/MP, and $165,000 for 5,000,000 at $0.33/MP. Additionally, Platinum players have access to bet365 Poker's Loyalty Rewards. Platinum players are rewarded for their continued loyalty at the three month, six month, and twelve month milestones.
