William Hill Bonus Details

Those new to William Hill Poker should take advantage of their 100% up to $600 initial deposit bonus. The bonus is automatic, as long as you deposit real money at William Hill that amount will be matched in pending bonus dollars. This is a great bonus for those having trouble moving up in stakes, as $600 can certainly help to bolster a bankroll.

In order to clear the bonus players must earn William Hill Points, or WHPs. For the full $600 bonus, players will have to 42,000 points in 60 days. This may seem like a daunting task, but the bonus is released into your account in $5 increments. It does not matter if you fail to clear the entire bonus, you will keep the money you have already earned.

WHPs are accumulated by paying rake in real money cash games and fees in tournaments/SNGs. For every $1 you pay in tournament fees you will receive 20 WHPs. For example, competing in a $20+$2 9-man SNG will earn a player 40 William Hill Points. Cash games are slightly more complicated, as the amount raked in each pot will determine how many points a player receives. The maximum points which can be earned in a cash game pot is 16, when the rake exceeds $3. Players will receive 1.25 points for a pot with $.50 rake, 3 points for $1 in rake, and 6.5 points for $2 in rake.

Looking at the full bonus amount, it appears a player must pay $2100 in tournament fees to receive the $600 bonus, or 28.5% rakeback, which is very high for a large deposit bonus. It is harder to determine for cash game players; however, it is safe to assume a similar rate as the tournament grinders. Those playing mid-stakes games should have little problem clearing the $600 bonus in 60 days. For those playing small or micro-stakes games, it could be quite challenging. Players grinding $10+$1 SNGs will have to play 2,100 of them in 60 days, or 35 a day. This is certainly doable, and even if players fail to reach such a high number, they will still receive a nice bonus.

Overall this is a great bonus, which is easy to earn for players with time on their hands. Those looking for a new room with a big bonus will be hard-pressed to find a better deal.
