“possible collusion among the employee players??” by Paul, 14 Nov 2007

Atmosphere:  1/5   Wait:  3/5   Variety:  2/5   Fish:  1/5

We were playing the $1-$3NL hold'em. At our table today, were 3 poker-room employees (chip runners I believe). The 3 of them were all together at our table. They'd raise and re-raise each other at the table, making it very expensive for others there to play, giggling and laughing among themselves. At the showdown, they turned up hands like 27, Q4, 10 4, etc. If anyone at the table was involved in a hand with them, they'd mis-call their hand all the time, and announce, "Full house!" when they showed their 27, hoping the other person (us) would believe them and muck their cards. They'd bet $50 in a $12 pot with rags, and would laugh, whisper, and giggle at everyone who got a bad beat through them (like if their 27 cracked your Aces). It was very annoying, and several of the dealers/floorpeople never said a word about them. They really ruined the entire table, as people there didn't appreciate the 3 of them laughing, making rude comments, etc. while the dealers did nothing but enable it. I'll never go back again as long as they allow their employees to play there.
