VC Poker Rakeback VIP Levels
All new players start out at the “Garnet” level, which is the first VIP Level in the program. After playing in two calendar months, new players are eligible for advancement. On the first of every month, your monthly Action Point totals are averaged over the prior three months (two months for new players). If you meet the criteria for a higher level, you can move up and reap the benefits. Let's take a look at each of the levels in the program and their associated benefits:
Garnet -
When you first sign up for , you are able to take advantage of the VIP program right away. As a “Garnet” status VIP, you will have access to the VC Poker Store where you can spend your Action Points. The store has an amazing array of products to choose from, including electronics, apparel, books and DVDs, tournament entry tickets, and much more. Granted, there are some very nice items that cost a whole lot of points, but there are a number of items that are geared toward the newer player and don't cost that many points. Garnet status players are also eligible for occasional reload bonuses offered during promotional periods. The Garnet reload bonus is 25% of your reload amount, up to $25.
Amethyst -
Once you've played for the required two calendar months, you're eligible to move up. If you've averaged 2,500 Action Points per month, you will advance to the Amethyst level. In addition to the VC Poker Store, which is available at all levels, Amethyst level players will get a better reload bonus when they are offered. The Amethyst reload bonus is 30% of your reload amount, up to $50. At the Amethyst level, you will also be able to enter a weekly freeroll tournament. As the name implies, these are absolutely free to enter, and VC Poker puts up the $1000 prize pool. These tournaments run every Tuesday night at 21:00 server time.
Sapphire -
If you average 7,500 points per month, you're ready for the next level. At the Sapphire level, the reload bonuses are better yet, offering 35% of your reload deposit, up to $100. Sapphire players are also eligible for the Weekly $1000 freeroll, but at this level you gain access to another freeroll – the Bi-Monthly $2000 freeroll. These tournaments run on the first and third Thursday of each month at 21:00, so as a Sapphire level player, you've got even more shots at some free money.
Emerald -
The next level, Emerald, requires a monthly average of 15,000 points. The reload bonus improves over the previous level, with a bonus of 40% of your reload up to $150. The Emerald level player also has access to the Weekly $1000 freeroll and the Bi-Monthly $2000 freeroll. What makes this level special, however, is that it is the first level where VIP cash back bonuses become available. The cash back bonuses are based on the number of Action Points that you earn in the prior month. The bonus is awarded at the rate of $5 per 1000 Action Points accumulated, up to a maximum of 15,000 points for the Emerald level, and can be redeemed at any time during the calendar month. However, these bonuses do not roll over month to month, so it is a “use it or lose it” proposition.
Ruby -
It takes a monthly average of 30,000 points to advance to the Ruby level. This level offers an improved reload bonus level of 45% of your reload up to $200. Ruby level players also gain access to another freeroll. This is the Monthly $5000 freeroll, offered on the third Monday of every month at 21:00. Players are also eligible for a larger VIP cash back bonus. The bonus rate remains at $5 per 1000 points, with the maximum number of redeemable points rising to 30,000. In addition to the increase in the maximum bonus amount, Ruby level players only have to actually redeem 50% of their points to earn the cash back bonus. So, if you earned the maximum 30,000 points in the prior month, you only have to turn in half of that amount, or 15,000 points, to earn the full bonus. This allows you to hang on to those extra Action Points, and spend them on goodies from the VC Poker Store. In addition to the tournament ticket entries available in the store, the Ruby level player also has access to use their Action Points for land-based tournament entries. For each 200,000 points, a player can “buy” $1,000 toward a live tournament buy-in (minimum entry $2,500).
Diamond -
For the truly elite player, the Diamond level is the top of the heap. To achieve the top level, you need to have a monthly average of 60,000 points. The reload bonus is the best of the lot, offering 50% of your reload amount, up to $250. All of the freerolls are available to the Diamond player, as well as the live tournament entry option that the Ruby level offers. The VIP cash back bonus is significantly improved as well, with a maximum of 150,000 prior month points eligible for redemption at the $5 per 1000 points rate. However, redemption is even cheaper than at the Ruby level, requiring you to only turn in 25% of the actual Action Points to get the bonus. Even better, if you manage to earn more than 150,000 points in the prior month, you are eligible for the Diamond VIP Enhanced Cash Back program. In this program, the cash bonuses are automatically paid to the players account by the 2nd of the month, and they player gets to keep 100% of their Action Points to use in the store or for tournament entries. Players earning between 150,001 – 175,000 points will get an automatic $1250 cash bonus, and the bonus increases $250 for every additional 25,000 points earned. So, if you earn 175,001 – 200,000 points, the bonus would be $1500, and will increase to $1750 if you earn 200,001 – 225,000 points.
