In this section, I have some simple, specific hand histories to illustrate some basic Texas Hold'em tactics and
strategies, and make suggestions on how to play certain hold'em hands.
These are just some example hand histories taken from low limit NL holdem tables that I've played. However,
you may peruse our thousands of hand histories in our Poker Hand History Posting Database
where players all over the world have posted their hands.
Regarding the hand histories below, I moved from
UltimateBet
to
PartyPoker
and
EmpirePoker
in December of 2003,
so you'll see some Texas hold'em hand histories in the PartyPoker/EmpirePoker format. Prior to that, the Texas hold'em
hand histories are in the UltimateBet format with play-by-play commentary during the action.
