How do you feel an online series like the WCOOP compares to a live series such as WPT or WSOP? Which do you prefer to play?
Offering all these game variations of poker as such is like so comfortable, of-course there is the magic of going out ones a week and be in a life event that will always have its charm... but I would imagine to enjoy staying home with the games on my computer, safe, player friendly, well secured, as the ultimate replacement for any life game and even more comfortable, lay back and more easy , at no extra or even lower costs, so a no brainier to do 9 out of 10 times, ( in this situation, during the weekdays the choice is simple at home, its only the weekends that people may have to choose out of some options they have( disco, diner, disco, movie,s ,birthdays etc.depending on their social status and age.)

Do you make any changes in your game when approaching a WCOOP event compared to any other online MTT?
No....I should ,... but in order to do that I would be at first need to take a study or taken a PC course to become better and faster on the PC.( step 2 would than be study more carefully who I'm playing, s many opponents have much info about me and my game but I have ZERO info about them!)

Other than the Main Event, what individual WCOOP tournament would you like to win the most? Why?
The biggest and most prestige's one, or the one with the biggest price-pool !

If you were suddenly in charge of running the WCOOP what changes would you make to improve the series?
My answer on this question would be based on a deeper study of the total WCOOP setup and strategy of it..and its different angles of why and when, in the light of the poker landscape from today and its competition , offering whats best for the players to the max...making sure we gain players instead of loosing them.

What's your guess for the final number of runners in the WCOOP Main Event? Do you feel it will shatter the 1,000 player mark?
I hope we do but I have No idea .

What type of playing environment do you maintain while playing poker online? Do you approach your online play as work, for instance, and dedicate part of your home to working on your craft without distraction? Do you adjust your environment when the stakes or prize pools are larger than usual?
YES...It will be a combination of work with pleasure,... knowing that it is a long shot playing against others that do have so much info about us the pro.s...... and using extra tools to get this info as well. ( like poker-shark & Hold,m manager etc ) make s it like performing as good as you can, but makes me play lower buy ins as they are more attractive to play, not feeling that bad if you loose a small event.. the bigger the buy in, the more concentration it should get.

Whenever online poker becomes a reality in the US, do you think there will be another boom?
yes.... online players will be always characters of a nickname that they carrie out where-ever they go..the outstanding players will be remembered but it will be the life event players that will be familiarizes the audiences and followers directly at all times.

Which one skill or technique do you think you possess over your standard opposition?
    Never give up.

What do you do when not playing poker? What are your favorite hobbies to take your mind off of the game?
answering requests from FB, follow others, read PN..give attention to others... walk the Dog, sing, keep track with whats going on in the world along side poker...like the US elections at the moment,...

    Favorite movie? TV Show?
300 Spartans.... TV Show? Dave Chappelle... BGT & AGT- love life talent shows.

What is your favorite city to visit?
    Las Vegas

The poker felts around the world have started to be inhabited by all sorts of strange characters. It would not be crazy to find a person dressed up as the Wizard of Oz, or another pretending to be an old man. Hoodies, sweatshirts, and all sort of pullover jerseys are also a very common sight. One thing has remained true throughout the years though: whenever you see a very well dressed gentleman on the table, with suit and tie there is a greater than 95% chance that it’s Marcel Lüske, also known as the Flying Dutchman.

If you see he also has upside down glasses on, then the chance of it being Marcel becomes 100%. Lüske, born on the 23rd of March 1953 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, began his poker career in the way that has now become standard for many pros: just quitting your current job and doing it. He officially quit his job as a salesman on January 1, 2003 to concentrate fully on poker.

Lüske has been one of the most prolific tourney players ever, and has had cashes in almost every country on earth. He was ranked as the number one player in 2001, and also in 2003, and was named player of the year in 2002 and also 2004.

The 2004 World Series of Poker was the defining year of Lüske as a player, launching his poker career into the stratosphere. He finished the 2004 Main Event in 10th place, and he also was the runner-up of the 2004 WSOP $5,000 buy-in Stud Event. The Stud finish alone was good enough for a cool $120,800.

His success was not just limited to the WSOP. He has also been a force to reckon with in the European Poker Tour. Among his many cashes and accomplishments, he has also made the final table of the EPT Monte Carlo grand Final in 2006.

Lüske is a true all around player, and plays successfully all sorts of Poker variants, such as all forms of Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha8, Stud and HORSE.

But aside from being a great player, he also has fulfilled the Obi-Wan Kenobi role. He has mentored a ton of the bigger name players. He formed what later became known as the “Circle of Outlaws”. Members of this elite group who was mentored by Lüske included the Flying Finn Patrick Antonius, Noah Boeken, 2004 WSOP Main Event Runner up David Williams, and also none other than Marco Traniello.

Aside from poker, Marcel is also a keen musician. He often takes to the stage to entertain the crowd at major poker events and parties. Its his childhood passion, and he has also had some of his work recorded. He also demonstrates one of the key traits of gentlemanliness, which is nobility. He dedicates his spare time to a ton of charities, and he can also be found appearing on poker shows on the TV of his natal country, alongside fellow poker player and mentee Noah Boeken.

Lüske is a true living poker legend, and he is undoubtedly one of the most popular and recognizable faces on the poker circuit. He is the kind of guy that makes the game better for all involved. Lüske is now a member of the prestigious PokerStars team of Pro Poker Players, and he plays in virtually every major live tournament. It is without a doubt that he will go down in history as a true Icon of the international poker scene.
