Live Poker Strategy

In this section, we cover strategy which is related to live and brick & mortar rooms. Online and live poker are two completely different worlds, what works online might not work live and vice versa.

In general, online games tends to be tougher and much more aggressive. There have been few times when I was not the most aggressive player on a live 200nl table. Usually most people like to limp in and call call call. This creates a whole new dynamic and you need to adjust your play accordingly. But don't expect to just sit down and run all over the table your first time. Most online players are shocked at just how bad everyone is but they just can't seem to win. You need to make some big adjustments to your game, taking your online play like probably won't work as well as you would hope.

So you're an online player who is heading to Vegas for the first time? Need some strategy and tips for the transition? Look no further, our live poker strategy articles are a great tool for anyone looking to breakthrough in live poker. Once you touch up on some strategy, make sure to check out our Poker Tells section, which goes into depth on one of most important aspect of live poker, tells!
