Hawaiin Garden's is huge. It was the
first place I played regularly for live
poker. Theey have a heavy vietnemese
community, all nice people but them
speaking to each other in a foreign
language is a put off. I have always
done quite well there at the cash games,
there games are a little different for
no limit. For instance they have twenty
dollar tables that are one dollar blind
for both big and small, its no limit but
you can not buy in for more then 20. I
actually walked after a 36 hour session
once with 2500 bux on a twenty dollar
max buy in table, so believe me it still
gets good you just have to build up your
original stack.
All the no limit games are like this,
basically you have to start with 20x the
bb. The place is very loud, so when I
found smaller places to play I was in
heaven. They have good service, decent
dealers and excellent management. They
have all sorts of games and tourneys so
selection will not be an issue. I also
have made quite a few friends at the
table, if you like lots of choice of
tables, and action and especially if
your on a budgett HG is the spot. You
can kill the tables just playing simple
tight poker, there is no problem getting
paid off when you flop a set.
Also no matter how packed it is they
will always open up more tables you will
never be waiting more then twenty
minutes.
I am going low on atmosphere not because
of the people but just because for poker
playing I prefer a quiteer casino. If
you dont mind noise you will love this
place.
Alright off to a tourney hope this
helped. |
