Full Tilt Poker Bonus Clearing Details
|
Full Tilt Poker is one of the most well-known online poker rooms, and is currently the second in terms of overall traffic in all of online poker. Full Tilt is the online home of many of the most famous poker players, including Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, Tom Dwan, Gus Hansen, David Benyamine, Howard Lederer and many more. Full Tilt also has very user-friendly software, robust security, a very wide variety of games including their recently introduced Rush Poker, and the highest stakes cash games that currently run online. One of the most famous online poker tournament series, the FTOPS, also takes place on Full Tilt Poker. Excitingly, they are one of the few rooms that remain open to US players after the UIGEA debacle.
On top of all that goodness, they have one of the best sign up bonuses around. For all you new players, Full Tilt will be matching your first three deposits up to $600. All you have to do to take advantage of this incredible offer is to enter the Full Tilt referral code "FLOPTURNRIVER” when you are registering your new account. The deposit bonus counts for your first three deposits, so you don't need to toss on $600 all at once to earn the full amount. You will have 120 days to clear the whole bonus, which will be released into your account in chunks of either 10% of the total bonus or increments of $20, whichever is the smallest. For instance, if you deposit $100, you will get a $100 bonus and this will be released in $10 chunks into your account. If you deposit $600, you will receive a $600 bonus which will be released in chunks of $20.
This bonus can take some time to clear but you will have up to 120 days to earn as much as you can. If the $600 amount seems impossible do not fret, FullTilt allows the bonus to be released into your account in either 10% of $20 increments depending on which amount is smaller. The bonus will clear at a rate of $.04 for every FullTilt Point earned. These points are earned by playing in real money games found in the FullTilt Lobby. The entire bonus will take 15,000 FTPs to clear which can be quite difficult for small-stakes players, but remember you will have nearly 4 months to do so.
Cash game players will earn FTPs based on the amount raked from each pot. As long as you are dealt into the hand at the table you will earn an equal amount of FTPs with the rest of the players. For every $1 raked the table will be awarded 10 FTPs which will be divided equally amongst those dealt into the pot. You will not earn points just by sitting out at the table, you must be dealt a hand to earn FTPs. Tournament and SNG players will earn 10 FTPs for every $1 in fees they pay. For example, playing in a $50+$5 event will net a player 50 FullTilt Points. There is no cap on points earned in a tournament meaning a high stakes professional could gain up to 2,000 FTPs in just one event. Small-stakes tournament grinders will need to play approximately 1,500 events to clear the entire bonus. Over a 120 day period this works out to just over 12 per day which should not be difficult for those used to multi-tabling. Cash game approximations are a bit more difficult to figure but players at 50NL and above should have little trouble clearing the entire $600 bonus.
As you can see, combining stakes, and also adding tournaments, will lessen the total amount of hands.
A theoretical scenario to release the whole bonus could be as follows: 50% in $11 SNG's, 25% in 25NL 6-max hands and 25% in 50NL Full Ring hands to clear 10,000 FTPs. This would translate into approximately 714 SNGs, 27,000 hands at 25NL, and 18,500 hands at 50NL. Keep in mind though that any method you choose to clear your bonus, you got 120 days to do so before your whole bonus expires. So you have to get on the grind swiftly.
Full Tilt Poker is the bomb. Excellent software, a ton of available games, rush poker, and the chance to play versus the best in the world, not to mention that they have one of the best bonuses in online poker. As you can clearly see, if you are not playing there you really are missing out on a lot. Don't hesitate, sign up right now, take advantage of the excellent bonus, and start owning the opposition!
