Lots of Action at FTR!

More than ever now, we have many special events at FTR. Here are some tips to help you stay on top of all the great things we have happening.

FTR Gauntlet V

As promised in the last newsletter, Season V of our online poker league, the
FTR Gauntlet, kicked off on February 11th. It is certainly not too late to join. We're only two games in out of 24 total games to choose from. This season, the buy-in per game has been lowered to just $5.50. The cost is low, but the skills are high. There is simply no better way to sharpen your tournament game. Join your fellow FTR players and test your wits against the best!

Games are held every Sunday at 12:00pm PT and Wednesday at 7:00pm PT. Game 3 is today at noon, Pacific Time! Click here to visit the FTR Gauntlet home page, see upcoming games and view the current Leaderboard. For complete details and to learn how you can register to play, click here.

Asian Poker Classic

Are you a traveler? Want to play some cards in an exotic country? How about in beautiful Goa, India? The Asian Poker Classic takes place from March 1st through the 5th at a luxurious 5-star resort in this traveler's paradise known as the "Pearl of the Orient." The APC is a 1 MILLION DOLLAR tournament with a $250,000 guaranteed add-in. As a special bonus, qualifying FTR members will receive free accommodations for four nights! And there's still time to satellite your way in to this event. For more information,

FTR Calendar

In case you didn't know, we have a handy
FTR Calendar that includes all the major events at FTR. Just click the Calendar link in the lower top nav of our Poker Forum whenever you want to see what's happening for any particular month. This is a great way to view at a glance all the events you may be interested in, such as the Gauntlet games, our special Guest Chat Sessions and exclusive freerolls. So remember to check our Calendar often.

Tournament Trimmer

Our own JeffreyGB has been hard at work on a spectacular update to his popular
Tournament Trimmer. It's a fantastic tool for literally trimming down pages of tournament hand histories for easier analysis and review. The current version is a downloadable program that runs on your computer. However, Jeffrey is just about ready with the new version and it will be released shortly. This much-improved version will not only look, feel and work better, it will also be web-based! Nothing to download! You will love it. Trust us. Watch for announcements of its release in our poker forum very soon.

FTR Birthdays

Beginning with the next issue, we will have a new regular section for our Newsletter. Some notable FTR member birthdays will be announced each month. This will give you a chance to wish them well or make fun of them, whichever you think they deserve.

As you can see, there's always something happening at FTR. We're more than a forum. We truly are a community. Join our lively discussions, keep an eye on our
Calendar and don't miss out on all the fun!
