“The best EVER!!!” by gn2056, 07 Mar 2009

Atmosphere:  3/5   Wait:  5/5   Variety:  3/5   Fish 5/5

I was in heaven when I stumbled across this hidden gem. In fact I was just riding on the metro blue line when I see a casino on an exit while going through compton (ghetto). however I called my friend and he told me he had just played there yesterday and I should go in its full of fish and its really nice. Okay go inside very nice place, very nice people working there. THere arent but a few tables going, but the action is frigging awsome. I believe the lowest nl table was 1/2 upi cam buy in for up to 160 which is great. I bought in for 80 flopped the nuts and got it all in with THREE FRIGGING CALLERS ridiculous. One guy made an understandable call with 8Q. Anyways left there up about three hundred in 1hour and a half. I put low on the atmosphere because the players, especially the really bad ones can get loud and angry. But I never felt threatened of course I can handle myself. I still wouldnt go here too late at night as it is in a relatively bad area. Some bonus features they have as they are still pretty young, they are owned I belive by Hollywood Park, you actually get paid to play similar to a rake back and earn free meals and stuff for being a card carrying member (free). Also they have an hourly high hand bonus which is sweet it usually only takes a four of a kind because there are only limited tables going. There guarenteed tourneys almost always have an overlay. I would say for an above average NL player you will make more here then any other casino. Just be wary of a couple of players that are proffessional that make there easy money at these tables, just keep in mind who they are and there are sooooooooo many fish to take advantage of. I remember one hand there I checked into the BB with 27 off flop came Q22. No joke a guy bet a simple bet, and I say outloud well I am just gonna save you money and moved him all in, he was in for about 14 bux and cost 164 to call. I couldnt believe he made the call. I am like dude, I feel bad I really was trying to let him off easy. Anyways, this dude is a regular and I have felted him at least five times in my ten trips there. If you are in LA I seriously think this is your best bet for tourneys, or cash games if you are confident.they have freerolls for regulars as well. On more thing the reason I absolutely love this place is its quiet real quiet so you wont get distracted. The dealers are better than Hawaiin Gardens, Hustler or Commerce )at least low limit tables. Good luck and seriously you gotta go!!!
