The Circus Poker download is very safe and secure. To protect your data and personal information, Circus Poker uses 1024 bit RSA key exchange and 448 bit Blowfish for their encryption technology. This is the same technology that many major financial institutions use.
The Circus Poker setup file is just 189 KB in size, and installing the software is very quick and self explanatory. The software only offers one language (English), but you’ll be able to choose between three currencies for real money games: EUR, GBP, or USD.
As soon as you register for an account and go to the lobby, a chat box comes up and you have the opportunity to chat live with someone from customer support. This is very handy if you have any quick questions about your new software. The support chat box can be launched anytime by pressing “Online Support” near the top right of the lobby.
The Circus Poker lobby is nothing special, but it is fairly easy to navigate. There is a menu on the left side of the lobby that allows you to choose between cash games, tournaments, and sit’n’go’s. When you click on an option, it expands to show you the types of poker offered for that game such as Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and Razz. Clicking on a type of poker will then bring up a list of games in the middle of the lobby, and these can be sorted by names, buy-ins, and players. For cash games, the games can also be sorted by average pot and hands per hour, and for tournaments they can be sorted by start time.
If you play a specific stake or limit and would rather not see everything else, you can use table filters. The filters allow you to select specific stakes and games, and you can also choose to hide full tables or tables that have too many players for your liking. For example, if I just want to see $100NL 50BB 6-max tables with free seats, I can use the filters to show only those tables.
One unique feature of the lobby is the “My Favorites” tab. You can put tables or tournaments that you play on a regular basis in this tab, and then they will always be easy and quick to find. There is also a “Quick Seat” tab. You tell the software what type of game you want play, the stakes, and the max number of players, and then it seats you at a table immediately. You can only use these features for real money games.
Once you are finally seated at your table, you will see even more options. There are 50 images to choose from for your personal avatar, and this includes various flags so that you can show your national pride at the tables. If you dislike seeing avatars, you can turn them off. You can also choose to have four color decks to make it easier to see different suits.
Sitting at the table and playing is a very pleasant experience. Everything is extremely easy to see as both your hole cards and the community cards come up as very large images. Tables are resizable to make multi-tabling easier, and even when the tables are small I have no trouble seeing what is happening. There are the usual advance action buttons, and you can access table and audio options right at the table.
As for the actual games available on Circus, you’ll have a handful to choose from. You will, of course, find your usual Texas Hold’em games, but you can also choose to play Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7 Card Stud, 5 Card Stud, and Razz.
Overall the Circus Poker software is easy to use without unnecessary flash and gimmicks. The resizable tables are great, the lobby has some nice filtering features, and customer support is always just a button click away. With their high quality security features and encryption, you can also be sure that your data and personal information is always safe and secure. Try a Circus Poker download today!
