Chili Poker VIP Levels
All new players start out at with a White Card, the first VIP Level in the program. On the first of every month, your monthly FPP totals are averaged over the prior three months. The formula features a weighting system for each of the prior months, with a 50/30/20 ratio, placing more emphasis on the your most recent performance. The weighted average is then compared to the level criteria to see if you are eligible for advancement. After playing for one calender month, new players may move up VIP levels, although your FPP will only be calculated from the previous month alone.
Let's take a look at each of the levels in the program and their associated benefits:
White Card
The White Card is the first level of the VIP program, and all new players are awarded this card when they sign up. At this level, you will have White card access to the Hot Shop. The Chili Poker store is tiered by levels, so the number of items available is limited when you are first starting out. However, there are still a number of nice items available with the White card access level, including all of their poker books, a number of t-shirts and apparel, and a $20+2 tournament token. All players in the VIP program have access to FPP tournaments, where you can spend your points on a tournament with the prize pool provided by Chili Poker. These tournaments include a 100 FPP buyin with a $50 prize pool that runs several times a day.
Bronze Card
If your average is 1,500 FPPs, you will be advanced to the Bronze Card level. The Hot Shop Bronze card access offers more than the White card access, including items like deluxe chip sets and higher level tournament tokens. The same FPP tournaments are available at the Bronze Card level, including a freezeout with a $300 prize pool that runs daily and an Omaha tournament on Saturday that costs 300 FPPs to enter and features a $500 prize pool. You also earn slightly more FPPs at the the higher levels of rake, as well as increased points for tournament buy-ins.
Silver Card
If you earn an average of 6,000 FPPs, you can move up to the Silver Card level. The Silver Card is the last of the “Regular” card levels, and the benefits are similar to the first two levels. A player earning the Silver Card will have increased access to the Hot Shop, such as $215 tournament tokens, and even some vacation packages to various resorts. Silver Card players may be interested in the biggest of the FPP tournaments, a weekly $2,000 guaranteed tournament that runs on Saturdays and costs only 2,000 FPPs to enter. The rate at which you earn FPPs is marginally increased at all levels except the lowest. Tournament fees will also earn you more points than at previous levels.
Steel Card
With an average of 15,000 FPPs, players become eligible for the Steel Card, the first of what Chili Poker calls their “VIP Level” cards in their loyalty program. In addition to the ever-increasing access to the Hot Shop merchandise, the Steel Card will gain you access to special freerolls, although the Chili Poker website is a little unclear as to the details. Steel Card members also accumulate FPPs at a quicker rate, earning FPPs at a 125% rate as compared to White Card members.
Premium Card
The Premium Card marks the next level among the VIP cards. Players qualify after averaging 45,000 FPPs for the prior 3 month period. Again, Hot Shop access increases for the Premium Card holder. Special freerolls are available, like with the Steel Card. The FPP rate increases again, to 133% of the initial rate. The Chili Poker website mentions new benefits for Premium Card members, including special invitations to live events. There is also a note on the site indicating that the player can email Chili Poker for a “personal loyalty program”, although the details of what this might be are unclear. Also, Premium Card players gain from a dedicated support program, where they will have access to a personal support agent to follow up on their support requests and inquiries.
Ultimate Card
The Ultimate Card is for the ultimate Chili Poker player. It takes an average of 100,000 FPPs to attain and offers the full spectrum of benefits. Unlimited access to the Hot Shop includes such extravagances as an actual suborbital space flight for a mere 9.5 million FPPs, an Aston Martin Vantage for only 9.9 million FPPs, as well as more “down to earth” options such as WSOP, WPT, and EPT tournament packages, top of the line electronics, and other goodies. All of the features of the Premium Card level are of course offered to the Ultimate Card player, and FPPs come at a 150% increased rate. The website also touts a “special surprise” for reaching the Ultimate Card level, and also states that Ultimate level players will receive invitations to special live events to play against their star team, which includes professional player Liz Lieu.
