ChiliPoker Bonus Clearing Details
|
Chili Poker is a gaming web site that allows you to play Texas Hold'em online from the comfort of your own home. Players can compete in ring, SNG, or tournament games against opponents from all over the world. Unfortunately at this time Chili Poker does not accept American poker players.
Chili Poker's bonus sounds like a really nice one -- a 150% matching bonus with a maximum bonus of $600 using the code FTP150 when you make your first deposit. Since this is a 150% matching, and it uses Moneybookers, in order to get the full $600 bonus potential, your first deposit to the bank must be a minimum of $400. So how does one earn it? For ring games, you are awarded a certain number of FPPs, or frequent player points, based upon your play. The best way to reference it is to look at this web site below. Bonus points are awarded equally whether you play poker or another game.
So how long does it take to earn this bonus? You are awarded $1 for every 35 FPP's you earn, but in order to be eligible for the bonus, you must earn the entire bonus in a 60-day period, with only one safeguard. The safeguard is as follows: If you have earned greater than 1/2 the Frequent Player Points needed, Chili Poker will award you 50% of whatever bonus it is that you've accumulated to this point. For a $600 bonus, this simply means that you must earn the full 21,000 FPPs within 60 days in order to get $600 in bonus money, whereas earning from 10,500 to 20,999 FPPs in that time will reward you with just $300.
However, your credit is only given at the beginning of the month unless you accumulate 12,500 points, in which case, you automatically get promoted to "Steel" level. So for the first calendar month, you will be accumulating points at the white level, which means you get 15 FPPs for every dollar you spend in a tournament or at the lowest level of points. Because you need 24,000 points in 60 days, let's calculate this that the player is trying to earn 12,500 points, or the Steel level in the first month. If you go after the 500 extra points, you will need fewer hands to earn the bonus in the second month.
For the first 30 days, you would have to earn 12,500 points at 4.5 points per hand with a $1.75 rake. Assuming an average of 40 hands per hour, this means you would earn 180 points in one hour. You would need 2,778 hands at that rake, or close to 69 hours and 30 minutes to earn this bonus. Playing just 2 hours and 20 minutes a day will get you this rate in 30 days. When you get to Steel, you will earn 6 points at the same rake. You only have to earn 11,500 more points to get the entire bonus which is 1,917 hands, or 47 hours and 55 minutes. It can be done playing 1 hour and 36 minutes per day, for a total of 4,697 hands. If you had only accumulated 12,000 points for each of the two months, the total needed would be 4,849 hands. This route saves you 152 hands or nearly four hours of play. This bonus is difficult but attainable if a player is aggressive enough. The only drawback is that if you're even 1 point short, you will lose half the amount you should have earned, so always make sure you have enough points. Because of this we've rated the bonus only a 2 out of 5 despite it not taking all that many hands to clear.
