ChanPoker is a fairly new site to the online poker rooms; however, they boast an extremely small and speedy download file. Clocking in at a paltry 454 KB, ChanPokerNetInstall.exe (ChanPoker Download) can be downloaded on any computer and any connection at a lightning fast speed. After that, you're given extremely basic instructions on how to install it onto your computer. It's very simple, and lightning fast to boot.
One of the coolest features about the download install is that it offers 18 different languages, encompassing a great deal of people and allowing nearly anyone who will come across ChanPoker to be able to download and install the software with ease. Another great feature is the ability to play right from your browser, as most OnGame skins have. I personally don't like using it but I'm sure many people (like the ones who should be working!) like taking advantage of the browser instant play.
Unfortunately, at the time of this download review, ChanPoker is not allowing any U.S. customers.
The Chan Poker software definitely doesn't disappoint in terms of usability. The quick search option allows people to easily find what type of game they are looking for such as cash games or sit and go's (it breaks down a lot more). The table sizes can also be changed from big to small which does give people some sort of choice. The browser mode may not be for everyone since it's different. Plus player's windows can freeze if the software is not allowed to pop-up in a separate window. But this shouldn't be too much of a deterrent from playing here.
