Bodog Poker Points Program - Earn and Multiply Your Points
All players playing at a real money tables on Bodog will earn Bodog Poker Points, which they call PTS. In fact, all new players will receive 50 PTS just for signing up! However, keep in mind that in order to earn points on a particular hand you must contribute to a raked pot. What that means is that if you are not in a blind and fold your hand without putting any money in the pot you do not get any PTS for that hand.
With that in mind you will see that earning points really is quite simple. They award points in ring games based on the amount of the rake taken from the hand. Take a look at the chart below to see how PTS are awarded:
Rake Taken – PTS Awarded
$.05 - $.20 - .10
$.25 - $.45 - .25
$.50 - $.95 - .50
$1.00 - $3.00 – 1
As you can see they award partial points, so even at the lowest stakes, players can earn PTS for every hand in which they contribute to the pot.
Tournament players will receive 3 PTS for every $1.00 paid in tournament fees. So, if you were to play in a $10 + $1 tournament, you will receive 3 PTS. In a $20 + $2 tournament you would receive 6 PTS, and so on.
Additionally, Bodog wants to reward those players who spend a lot of time on the tables. Therefore, they award PTS based on your time spent playing. For every 60 minutes spent playing at a table, they will award you with 1 point. You must be sitting in on the table and you may earn a maximum of 500 PTS per month based solely on time spent playing.
Another great benefit for higher volume players is the Bodog Poker Points multiplier. For a limited time, and they don't say when it will end, players who earn more than 2,000 PTS in a month will have their points doubled for that month. So if during a month you earn 3,200 PTS, you will receive a points bonus of 3,200 additional points at the end of the month. This is a very generous offer from and it should definitely be taken advantage of while it is still available.
Now that you have accumulated PTS you have the opportunity to spend them. There are two options from which to choose. If you would like, you can use your points to play in tournaments. Some of the PTS tournaments offer a cash prize while others offer a satellite ticket into much larger tournaments.
The second, and generally better option for most players, is to convert your points to cash. They make it pretty simple to do. Once logged in, just go to the "Account" tab and click on "Points to Cash". Enter the amount of PTS you would like to convert to cash and click "Convert".
The exchange rate is 100 PTS is equal to $1. You must convert a minimum of 500 points at a time ($5) and you can convert up to a maximum of 25,000 PTS in one month, so up to $2,500 a month! The 25,000 PTS max is imposed in a 30 day cycle, so you may convert points as often as you like, but up to 25,000 PTS in a 30 day period. How's that for a cash back program?
Also, converted cash is considered a bonus, so regular bonus rollover rules apply. That means that you must earn 3 Bodog Poker Points for each $1 before you may cash out the bonus money.
